Beatrice N. CarterELLENBURG -- Beatrice N. Carter, 81, of Ellenburg, died Saturday, April 16, 2006, at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ellenburg on May 12, 1924, the daughter of Ernest and Helena (Dumont) Carter. She was a member of the Ellenburg Senior Citizens Club. She was a communicant of St. Edmund's Church and was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society and the Court Little Rose Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Carter of Ellenburg Center and John Carter of Malone; a sister, Carol LaClair of Ellenburg; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday from St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Interment will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery. Ashley Elizabeth TaylorTICONDEROGA -- Ashley Elizabeth Taylor, 19, of Ticonderoga, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006, in Burlington, Vt., as a result of an automobile accident. Born March 19, 1987, she was the daughter of Leslie A. "Peanut" Taylor Jr. and Anne M. (Sousis) Taylor of Ticonderoga. Ashley was a great daughter and asset to her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in Ticonderoga. She loved her music, the outdoors and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a good hearted person and no matter what she was doing, she was always there for a friend in need. She will be greatly missed, may God rest her soul. She was very close to her friend Chasity and most of all Rebekka. She loved her cousins very much and she will definitely be missed in all of her family's hearts and lives forever. Survivors in addition to her parents, Leslie A. "Peanut" and Anne M. (Sousis) Taylor of Ticonderoga include two brothers, Justin M. Sousis of Whitehall and Anthony M. Taylor of Ticonderoga; her paternal grandmother, Grace Taylor of Ticonderoga; and her maternal grandparents, Edward and Muriel "Liz" Belden, of Ticonderoga. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. A funeral service will follow on Monday at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the family plot of St. Mary's Parish Cemetery of Ticonderoga. A reception for family and friends will follow the services at the American Legion of Ticonderoga.

13, 2006, at her home in AuSable Forks.
She was born April 29, 1923, in AuSable Forks, the daughter of Earl and
Virginia (Lawrence) MacDonough.
