Mary Josephine Scozzafava

WITHERBEE -- Mary Josephine Scozzafava of Witherbee died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown.

Born in Witherbee, Nov. 27, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Rosselli.

She was predeceased by her husband John; and son Joseph.

She is survived by three sons, Samuel, Thomas and John; one daughter, Jeanette; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may call on Monday, April 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home, 4279 Main St., Port Henry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 12 St. Patrick's Place, in Port Henry.

Deaths:

ASHLEY E. TAYLOR, 19, of Ticonderoga passed away, Thursday, April 13, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time and under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.

MARGUERITE C. TOSH, 93, formerly of Palmer Street, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006, at Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was born in Rouses Point on June 28, 1912, daughter of George W. and Anna (Roche) Bombard.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

RALPH E. MYERS, 89, of Pine Street, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Plattsburgh on March 6, 1917, son of Earl and Emma (Gibeau) Myers.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

MARY L. HAYDEN of Tupper Lake, N.Y., died April 5, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y.

She was born on April 27, 1922, the daughter of Ovila LaRocque and Rose (Martin) LaRocque.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Alphonous Church on April 27, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends after the service.

Arrangements are with the Richer Funeral Home in Tupper Lake.
