Bonita (Bombard) WinchWILMINGTON -- Bonita (Bombard) Winch, 63, died March 16, 2006, at the Adirondack Medical Center, surrounded by friends and family. She had fought a courageous battle with heart disease. She was born in Black Brook, N.Y., on Jan. 15, 1943, the sixth child of Ernest C. and Valda (Douglas) Bombard. She attended school in AuSable Forks and married James Winch Sr. on Nov. 24, 1962. They built a house in Wilmington where they raised three children. Bonita cooked professionally for Tirolerland in Jay, Whiteface Chalet and The Inn at Whiteface. She always enjoyed feeding her loved ones. For many years she was a rural mail carrier in Wilmington. Bonita loved bingo and the NY Yankees. She was an enthusiastic hockey mom, a dedicated grandmother and a fiercely loyal friend. Bonita is survived by her husband Jim; by daughter Colleen, her husband Marcel Bruce and their son Eric of Wilmington; by son Jimmy, his wife Amy and their son James III of Jay and by son Joe of Wilmington. She also leaves siblings Doris (Wayland) Hart of AuSable Forks, Rosemary Fournier of Peasleeville, Robert Bombard of Saranac, Carol (Don) Quigley of Pennsylvania, Ernest (Shawn) Bombard of Hawaii, Christine (Roy) Ero of Schuyler Falls, Cynthia (Mike) Mullarky of Rensellaer; and sisters-in-law, Betty Bombard of AuSable Forks and Sherry Bombard of Peasleeville. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Wanda; her parents; and brothers Joe and Marvin. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Holy Name Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with a reception immediately following at the Holiday Lodge in Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wilmington Rescue Squad. Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mary Anne DrolletteSARANAC -- Mary Anne Drollette, 65, of Hugh Herron Road, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at her residence. She was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 5, 1940, the daughter of Orville and Hazel (Duley) Martin. Mrs. Drollette married Robert Drollette Sr. on Dec. 20, 1959, at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. She was a homemaker for her husband and three children and enjoyed her grandchildren. Mary worked for Nelson's Flower Shop in Plattsburgh for 20 years as a floral designer. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora, the Lady of the Elks 2072 in Keeseville and a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bobby" Drollette Sr. of Saranac; two sons, Richard "Rich" Drollette and his wife Pam of Willsboro, N.Y., and Robert Jr. "Mickey" Drollette and his wife Shelly of Cadyville; one daughter, Cheryl Bull of West Chazy; one sister, Shirley Williams of Massachusetts; and eight grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 20, 2006, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country. Donna L. AtkinsonMERRILL -- Donna L. Atkinson, 58, of State Route 374, Merrill, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, N.Y. Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Feb. 15, 1948, she was the daughter of Bernard Siskavich and Rita (Durocher) Kourofsky. Her father predeceased her. She was married to Lee Atkinson on Sept. 30, 1967, in St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain. Mrs. Atkinson is survived by her husband of 38 years; her mother and stepfather, Rita and Wally Kourofsky of Lyon Mountain; a daughter and son-in-law, Leasha and Scott LaPoint of Merrill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Mary Atkinson of Standish and Stacey Atkinson and Andrea Dashnaw of High Banks; nine grandchildren, Misty, Heidi, Kellie, Devin, Kailee, Nicole, Meg, Sarah, Katelynn; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Ken Frego of California and Patti Ann and Ed Jackson of Syracuse; a brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Gail Kourofsky of Rochester; her mother-in-law, Geraldine "Barbara" Atkinson; many brothers-in-law, sisters - in-law; nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Lyon Mountain Funeral Home on Sunday, March 19, from 3 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 20, in St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Vincent Jazmines officiating. Spring burial will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery. Arrangements are through the Chateaugay Funeral Home. Elizabeth BeanMORIAH -- Elizabeth Bean, 80, of Center Road, Moriah, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y. She was born May 17, 1925, in Moriah Center, N.Y., the daughter of Sherman and Marie (O'Neil) Howard. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Kathy Winters of Glens Falls; her sons, Ford Munson and Douglas Munson, both of Moriah; a brother, John Howard of South Glens Falls; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Roland Bean. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will held Sunday, March 19, 2 p.m. at the Moriah Methodist Church, Moriah, N.Y. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at a later date. Evelyn Margaret NemethPORT HENRY -- Evelyn Margaret Nemeth, 84, of Port Henry, passed away Friday, March 17, 2006, at her residence. Born in Kearny, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Anton and Margaret (Ilyes) Nemeth. Mrs. Nemeth has been a resident of Port Henry for the past five years. Evelyn had a distinguished career as a police officer with the New York City Police Department. She then changed careers and became an executive secretary for Dexter-Carpenter Coal Company, where she was employed for 18 years. She enjoyed traveling globally. Survivors include one daughter, Ilyes Moore of Port Henry; one son, Joseph Emru and his wife Christina of Long Island and their two children, Dara Julie and Joseph John llI. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.

JOHN H. PAUL, 77, of Hovley Lane East, Palm Desert, Calif., and
formerly of Lakeview Meadows Road, Keeseville, died unexpectedly
Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at his home.
He was born in Romford, Essex, England, Nov. 4, 1928, the son of Cyril
and Mabel (Stone) Paul.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006, from 7 to 9 p.m.
at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. A Mass of Christian burial
will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church
in Keeseville with John's brother-in-law, Monsignor Leo P. Herbert, pastor
of the Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church in Lookout Mountain, Tenn.,
celebrating.
