David George HathawayPLATTSBURGH -- David George Hathaway, 17, of Plattsburgh, flew with the angels on Monday, March 13, 2006, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 18, 1988, son of David F. Hathaway Sr. and Lea Mitchell. David was a junior, attending Peru Central School. He loved working with cars and playing electric guitars with his father. He enjoyed video games and spending time with family and friends. He was a Queen fan and listened to their music. David is survived by his parents; a brother, David F. Hathaway Jr. of Plattsburgh; a longtime friend, Lisa Garrow; paternal grandmother, Pauline Fountain; paternal grandfather, Thomas Fountain; his aunts and uncles, Barbara and Eugene Bradley, Brenda Mitchell, John and Bobbie Hathaway and Kevin and Tonya Hathaway; a close family friend, Mary Clackler; several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and many friends. David was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George and Barbara Mitchell. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 18, 2006, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Donations in David's memory may be made to the family. Caroline M. SaultHULL, Mass. -- Caroline M. Sault, our beloved mother and Nana lost a long and courageous battle with lung cancer on March 12, 2006, with her loving daughters by her side. "Nana" was a much loved character who always loved to make you laugh, sing and feel good. Her favorite things were the good company of everyone she met, bingo, slots and most recently camping with her grandchildren. She looked forward to any and all get-togethers where she could meet new people and entertain with her funny stories. She is survived by her sister, Madeline Antoine and her husband Jim of Hall, Mass.; her son, Stephen Sault and his companion Peggy Taylor of Randolph, Mass.; daughter, Doris Paiz of Weymouth, Mass., daughter, Elizabeth Panetti and her husband Anthony of West Chazy, N.Y., and daughter, Michelle Sault of Hull, Mass. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. "Nana" touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Memorial services will by held at St. Ann's Church in Hull, Mass., on Friday, March 24, 2006. Viola Ashline PombrioCOLONIE -- Viola Ashline Pombrio, 91, entered into eternal life Monday, March 13, 2006. Born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., daughter of the late Lee and Eva Gebo Frederick. Viola was the owner and operator of Ashline's Grocery in Plattsburgh for over 28 years retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Plattsburgh and the Guilderland Lodge of Elks. Loving wife of 37 years to Richard Pombrio, and also the late Henry Ashline, who passed away in 1967; beloved mother of Henry Ashline of Feura Bush, Marjorie Dickson of Albany and Allen Helson of Waterford; cherished grandmother of Lee, John, Greg and Glenn Ashline, Cynthia Osmer and Philip, Kevin and Timothy Dickson and Allen Jr. and Leigh Ann Helson. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by her brother and sister. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, N.Y. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers those desiring may send a remembrance in Viola's name to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.

RONALD F. J. LAVALLEY, 69, of Route 11, Mooers Forks and Silver Springs, Fla., died Monday, March 13, 2006, at the Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla. He was born in Mooers Forks, June 27, 1936, the son of Andrew J. and Genevieve (Bosley) LaValley. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. DOROTHY A. (HAYES) MOORE, 77, of More Lane, Keeseville, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born April 17, 1928.
