Beatrice Eileen GilmoreRUTLAND, Vt. -- B. Eileen (Galvin) Gilmore died March 2, 2006, at Rutland Regional Medical Center, after a brief, difficult struggle with cancer. Eileen moved to Rutland in November 2005, hoping to settle into a retirement life that could include lots of time being grandma to her nearly 2-year-old granddaughter, Emma. Eileen was born in Crownsville, Md., on June 28, 1937, the daughter of Edgar and Beatrice (Dinsmore) Galvin. She grew up in Baltimore, Md. After graduation from Western High School in 1954, she attended Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) and graduated in 1958 with a major in sociology. She worked as a social worker in Maryland and Chicago, Ill. Eileen married Allen R. Gilmore on June 7, 1958. The Gilmores have two sons, Mark and Jonathan. Eileen became a financial manager/bookkeeper as her sons grew, helping to pay for their college educations by working for not-for profit counseling agencies in Washington, D.C., and the Keene Valley area of the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Eileen gave much of her time and leadership to community organizations, such as the Keene food pantry and local Keene Habitat for Humanity and was deeply respected and loved for her compassion and leadership skills. Eileen is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Allen; son Mark and daughter-in-law Marcia Moriarta of Albuquerque, N.M.; son Jonathan, daughter-in-law Erin and granddaughter Emma, of Rutland, Vt.; brother, Paul W. Galvin and sister-in-law, Doris of Manassas, Va.; three nieces, Suzanne Weigand of Cary, N.C., Shelly Galvin of Ashville, N.C., Colleen Munster of Manassas, Va.; a nephew, Kent Galvin of Stafford, Va., and their families. A memorial service will be held in April at Keene Valley Congregational Church in Keene, N.Y. Gilmer Harold OggCLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Gilmer Harold Ogg, 70, of Clarksville, Tenn., went to meet our Lord Jesus March 2, 2006, at Gateway Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1935, in Montgomery County, son of the late Gilmer L. Ogg and Lols (Albright) Fulton. He was a member of the Antique Tractor Club, a deacon and former treasurer at Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was blessed with a tremendous sense of humor and enjoyed helping others. He also enjoyed singing bass in the church choir, fishing and gardening. He also served in the Volunteer Fire Department of Chazy, N.Y., for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepmother, Pauline Woodward Ogg; and the mother of his children, Theresa Ogg, Lisa Marie Ogg Fraley (Chuck), Gilmer Harold Ogg Jr. (Beverly), Eric Robert Ogg (Patricia) and Mark Allen Ogg (Joanne) all of Pryor, Okla.; sister Sherry Dorris-Hibbard (Ron), Madison, Tenn.; and brothers Robert Dean Ogg (Joyce) and Edward Fulton (Patricia). Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home, 424 Franklin St., Clarksville, Tenn. Prudence (Sawyer) KelleyNORTH CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Mrs. Prudence (Sawyer) Kelley of North Chelmsford, Mass., died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, Mass. She was born in Swanton, Vt., on Dec. 30, 1946, the daughter of the late Keith and Madeline (Proulx) Sawyer. She attended St. Anne Academy in Swanton with the class of 1965, and was a graduate of Burlington High School; she later attended Burlington College, also in Vermont. She was employed over the years with General Electric in Burlington, Dr. Robert Lynam's office in Colchester and most recent at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford, as well as the Church of The Nativity in Swanton. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved animals and supported their humane treatment with her membership in the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Besides her loving husband, John, she is survived by a son, Fritz Hubacher of Crescent City, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Susan Sawyer of Fletcher, Vt.; a sister and brother - in-law, Peggy and Norman Vincelette of Chesterfield, N.Y.; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and close family friends. She was the loving mother of the late Keith Sawyer Morgan of Swanton, who died in 1968; and Annmary Morgan McKinney of N. Chelmsford, Mass., who died in 2000. Visiting hours will be Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. in the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, and Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. in Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, Vt. Her funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Kidder Memorial Home followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in The Church of the Nativity in Swanton. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Swanton. ANDREW G. COSS JR., 73, of Michelle Avenue, Plattsburgh, died
March 3, 2006, at his residence.
He was born in Andes, N.Y., on Oct. 26, 1932, the son of Andrew G. and
Louise (Ingram) Coss Sr.

JAY MICHAEL RILEY, 44, of 1102 State Route 122, Constable, N.Y.,
died unexpectedly March 2, 2006, at his home.
He was born in Malone, N.Y., on Jan. 29, 1962, the son of Deforest
"Pat" and the late Salina (Dufrane) Riley.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral service will be held
Monday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Richard Demers
officiating. Burial will be in the Constable Cemetery.
RALPH L. ADAMS, 83, died March 3, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center
in Plattsburgh.
He was born April 9, 1922, the son of George and Anna (LaBombard)
Adams.

ANN M. LEWIS, 91, of 76 Will Rogers Drive, Saranac Lake, died
March 3, 2006, at Adirondack Medical Center.
She was born in Saranac Lake, N.Y., on March 19, 1914, the daughter of
Robert and Mary (Tierney) Lewis.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on
Sunday, March 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Catholic Daughter's service
will take place on Sunday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. A prayer group service
will take place Sunday evening at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will
take place at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, March 6, at St. Bernard's Church, with
the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. A reception will follow at Saranac
Village at Will Rogers. Burial will be in May at St. Bernard Cemetery in
Saranac Lake.
CHARLES R. SMITH, 64, of 14 VanBuren St., Saranac Lake, died
March 3, 2006, at the Adirondack Medical Center at Saranac Lake.
He was born in Saranac Lake on June 6, 1941, the son of Stanley and
Mildred (Moody) Smith.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on
Monday, March 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be
held March 7, at 10 a.m. at the Adirondack Alliance Church, 72 Canaras
Ave., Saranac Lake, with the Rev. Randy Cross, the pastor, officiating.
Cremation will follow at Whispering Maples in Ellenburg Depot.
JOAN M. ROBISTOW, 67, of 46 Brown-Benoit Road, Owls Head died
Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1939 in Owls Head, the daughter of Earl and Lena
Belanga Livernois Sr.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in
St. Joseph's Church, Owls Head. Spring burial will take place in Notre
Dame Cemetery, Malone. Funeral arrangements are through St. Mary-Murphy
Funeral Home.
