Paul R. KellySUN CITY CENTER, FLA. -- Paul Robert Kelly, 94, of Sun City Center, passed away Dec. 30, 2005, at Tampa General Hospital from injuries suffered in an auto accident Dec. 23, 2005. He was born May 1, 1911, in Clinton, Iowa, to Harold A. Kelly and Eleanor Huston Kelly. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marion; brother, John; and sister, Betty Raymond. He is survived by five children, Carolyn Harding (Lee) of Chazy, N.Y., David Kelly (Kathy), Nancy Perelman (Stanley), Nora DeJohn (Kurt) and Kathy Kelly; and a beloved niece, Linda Cottreau (Dick), who was like a daughter to him. He has 13 grandchildren, including John C. Harding (Lisa) of Liverpool, Laura H. Pearl (Tim) of Dover, N.H., Thomas M. Harding (Lisa) of Waterford, Elizabeth H. Church (Tom) of Cadyville and Catherine H. Green (Jeff) of Chazy; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was a graduate of Clinton High School, where he excelled in sports. He went on to the University of Wisconsin and was a member of Phi Psi fraternity. He had to leave college in 1931 because of the Depression and the only job he could get was in sales. He was married to Marion Schneider in 1935. His career at Electrolux Corp. took him and his family to cities in Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, New Jersey, Maryland, Georgia, Connecticut and New York. He retired as vice president of Electrolux in 1973 and came to Sun City Center. He was an avid fly fisherman, golfer, trap shooter and bridge player. He was a pilot and flew his own plane for both business and pleasure to places like Alaska to fish (he sold two vacuum cleaners on that trip). Another passion was investments. He worked on investments several hours a day and read everything he could get on the subject from many sources. His mind was very sharp, he had a wonderful sense of humor and he said many times: "I never met a person I didn't like." A funeral service took place at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, followed immediately by a lunch at the church hall. Ethel Ida DarrahPLATTSBURGH --Mrs. Ethel Ida Darrah, 103, of Beekman Towers passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Ingraham, N.Y., on June 20, 1902, the daughter of Joseph A. and Nellie (Bousquet) Willette. Ethel was a member of the Windy Towers Club, St. Peter's Church and the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Nellie Willette; her husband, Victor Darrah; a brother, Truman Willette; her sisters, Inez Fitzpatrick and Flora Newell; and a granddaughter, Carolyn Sipowicz. Ethel is survived by a daughter, Norma Sleight of Queensbury, N.Y.; a grandson, Stephen Sleight of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; three great-granddaughters, Christa Sleight, Jessica Sleight and Rebecca Sleight; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Alexander's Cemetery in Morrisonville. Members of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Peter's Church are asked to meet Thursday at 3 p.m. for services. Debyah, 77, of Okeechobee Court, Grove City, Ohio, and formerly of South Bangor, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at her daughter's home in Grove City, while under the loving care of her family and Hospice. Born in Malone on Nov. 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (LaFountain) Greenwood. She attended local schools. On May 22, 1970, she was united in marriage to Robert F. Debyah in Dekalb Junction, N.Y. He predeceased her on Sept. 26, 1998. Prior to her marriage, Theresa worked at Tru-Stitch Footwear and later as a housekeeper for Notre Dame Rectory in Malone. She enjoyed bingo, flower gardening, shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Jody and William Struck of Grove City, Ohio, Robin and Gerald Muehl of Champlain, and Angela and Roger Rudd of Lafayette, Ind.; four grandchildren, Anissa Knight, Lee Struck, Tennille Dupra and Tetley Traynor; four great-grandchildren, Dalton and Demi Knight and Abigail and Sydney Struck. Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Louis Greenwood; three sisters, Mae Fountain, Veronica Bissonnette, and Pearl Meagan; and two great-grandchildren, Devin Jarvis and Emma Dupra. Calling hours were from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. today at Notre Dame Church in Malone. Burial will be in the Bangor Cemetery in South Bangor in the spring. Donations may be made in her memory to either Hospice of the North Country or to the Bangor Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.

LORRAINE WATERSON GARWOOD, 77, of 87 Olive Street, Saranac Lake,
died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at her home.
She was born in Pine Woods, N.Y., on March 25, 1928, the daughter of
Oliver and Corrine (Sampier) Waterson.
Private services and burial will be held. Arrangements are with the
Fortune- Keough Funeral Home.
GERALD M. PICKREIGN SR., 85, of the Franklin County Nursing Home
in Malone, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2006, at that facility.
He was born May 6, 1920, in Chateaugay, N.Y., the son of Edward and
Nora Sprague Pickreign.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted
in Morningside Cemetery in the spring and will be announced at that time.
Funeral arrangements are through St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home, Inc.
STELLA (KOCIALSKI) BROGOWSKI, 93, died Feb. 25, 2006, at Erie
County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
She was born Aug. 27, 1912, daughter of the late Frank and Tekla (Kasza)
Kocialski.
Arrangements are with the Pacer Funeral Home in Depew, N.Y.
SHIRLEY ANN PARENT, 62, formerly of the Miner Farm Road, Chazy,
died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the Horace Nye Nursing Home in
Elizabethtown, N.Y., with her daughter by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Dec. 29, 1943, the daughter of
John W. and Simone Jeannette (Langlois) Kelley.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Brown
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at
the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery.
EDWINA ANN SMART, 96, formerly of the Duley Road in Altona and
most recently residing at Meadowbrook Health Care Facility in Plattsburgh,
died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at the facility.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Brown Funeral
Home in Altona.
ALFRED P. FLEURY SR., 81, of Poplar Street, Constable, N.Y.,
died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center
in Malone, N.Y., after being stricken at his home.
Born in Constable, he was the son of the late Peter and Rose Duquette
Fleury.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in
Constable, with the Rev. Francis Flynn officiating. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery in the spring.
BARBARA A. DAILY, 50, of Margaret Street, Plattsburgh, died
Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Plattsburgh on June 7, 1955, the daughter of Frances M.
(Pelkey) and the late Philip N. Pulsifer.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight at the Hamilton
Funeral Home in Peru. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the
funeral home.
CHERYL A. LUTHER, 60, formerly of Flynn Avenue in Plattsburgh,
died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility
in Burlington.
She was born in Boston, Mass., on Sept. 15, 1945, the daughter of
Frederick and Marion (Craig) Luther.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the R.W. Walker
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in
the funeral home chapel.
Burial will take place at a later date in Independence Cemetery in
Saranac.
