Joseph A. LemieuxPLATTSBURGH " Mr. Joseph A. Lemieux, 52, of Maryland Road, Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Aug. 3, 1953, the son of James and Theresa (Buskey) Lemieux. Joseph was a graduate of Mount Assumption Institute, Class of 1971. He worked in Manhattan where he was manager of Magno Sound and Video. Joseph was a member of St. Peter's Church. He was predeceased by his father, James Lemieux; his paternal grandparents, Mose and Eva Lemieux; and his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Julia Bousquet. Joseph is survived by his mother, Theresa Lemieux of Plattsburgh; his sisters, Mrs. Mary (John) Ernst of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Diane (Michael) Kalitan of Cortland, N.Y., Mrs. Marjorie (Joe) Ewing of Riverside, Calif., Mrs. Patricia (Mark) Kuriger of Cumming, Ga.; a brother, Thomas Lemieux and his wife Melody of Peru, N.Y.; several aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Following cremation, entombment will be in the columbarium at St. Peter's Cemetery. At Joseph's request, in lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, American Red Cross, Hospice of the North Country or the North Country Mission of Hope.
Deaths
DOUGLAS DUFRESNE, 76, of Harp Street, Morrisonville, died Feb.
8, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Cornwall, Quebec, Canada, on Aug. 17, 1928, the son of
Edward and Helen (Jodoin) Dufresne.
At Douglas' request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services
will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
ROLAND L. "JOE" BOUYEA, 65, of Irish Settlement Road,
Plattsburgh, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Morrisonville on Aug. 23, 1940, the son of Edward and
Eliza (Rougier) Bouyea.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

DAYTON W. KING, 87, of Jackson Street, Port Henry, died Feb. 9,
2006, at his home.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Harland
Funeral Home, Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated
Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Port Henry.

HELEN E. WOOD-WHITE, 57, of Medway, Maine, and formerly of
Chateaugay, died Feb. 7, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Bangor, Maine,
after battling Lou Gehrig's disease for eight years.
She was born in Malone, N.Y., on Feb. 3, 1949, the daughter of the late
Jerry and Gertrude (Tebo) Bessey.
Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Sunday
from noon to 2 p.m. A prayer service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral
home chapel with the Rev. John Demo of St. Patrick's Church officiating.
Spring burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Ellenburg Center.
