Sean Michael DavidsonPALM HARBOR, Fla. -- Sean Michael Davidson, 19, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, in Tallahassee, Fla. Sean was born in Englewood, Colo., Jan. 29, 1987. Sean graduated in June of 2005 from East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Fla. He played high school football and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was currently a student of Tallahassee Community College where he was studying to become a paramedic. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Judie and Ted Long of Palm Harbor, Fla.; his father, Kevin Davidson of Atlanta, Ga.; twin brother, Cory Davidson of Palm Harbor, Fla.; stepbrothers, Bryan, Scott and Ted Long, all of St. Charles, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Davidson of Boca Raton, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Barbara Mullen of Keeseville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Irving L. "Stu" Mullen, Dec. 26, 2001; and paternal grandfather, George William (Jim) Davidson, Jan. 29, 1988. A memorial service was held at the East Lake United Methodist Church in Palm Harbor, Fla., to which over 400 people honored his memory. Adelaide Miner PletcherSAHUARITA, Ariz. -- Adelaide Miner Pletcher, age 87, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Sugars II Assisted Living Home, Sahuarita, Ariz. Born March 11, 1918, in Dunkirk, N.Y., to Harley Guy and Mary (Gould) Miner. Preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Survived by James D. Pletcher, her devoted husband of 63 years; daughters Susan Ochs (Jerome) of Green Valley, Ariz., Jane Pletcher (Jack Cooley), Columbus, Ohio, and grandson Matthew J. Ochs, Denver, Colo. Adelaide was a graduate of Dunkirk, N.Y., High School and the National College of Education, Evanston, Ill. She worked for many years as a pre-school and kindergarten teacher in the Lockport, N.Y., school system; later served as a teacher/administrator with the Head Start Program in Plattsburgh, N.Y. After moving to Green Valley, Ariz., with her husband Jim in 1976, she continued to use her unique talents and insights into child development as a volunteer with Los Ninos del Valle Preschool, always incorporating the sources of so much joy in her own life -- art, music, the written word and the power of kindness. Adelaide's wit, wisdom and caring ways are her everlasting legacy. There will be no memorial service. LaPoint, 74, of Chazy Lake, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in EIlenburg on Aug. 9, 1931, the daughter of Lawrence and Laura (Monette) Bond. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brenda LaPoint of Danbury, Conn., Carl and Donna LaPoint of South Carolina and Norman and Sharon LaPoint of Chazy Lake; seven daughters and five sons-in-law, Marlene and James Worrell of New Market, Ala., Wanda LaPoint of Ellenburg Depot, Debbie and Frank Woodward of Lyon Mountain, Brenda and Armand LaBombard of Merrill, Ona Mae Rabideau of Ellenburg Depot, Darlene and Kenneth LaHart of Redford, Lynn and Bill Byrd of Lyon Mountain; three brothers, Donald, Glen and Gary Bond; four sisters, Dolly, Elma, Eveline and Eileen; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Harry LaPoint, died in June of 1979. Her parents; a sister, Mildred; and a brother, Kermit, also died earlier. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the E.F. Bernard R. DeFayettePLATTSBURGH -- Bernard R. DeFayette, 82, of Palmer Street, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Redford on March 13, 1923, the son of Fred and Helen (Dupell) DeFayette. Mr. DeFayette was a lifetime member of the Plattsburgh Elks Club. Bernard began working as a car salesman at E.S. Masons, a Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth dealership in Plattsburgh. He then worked at Vincent S. Jerry's in Crown Point and then worked at Adirondack Auto in Elizabethtown until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Helen Baker of Plattsburgh; two sons, David DeFayette of Plattsburgh and Larry DeFayette and his wife Joan of Champlain; one stepson, John Fordham and his wife Kathleen of North Hampton, N.H.; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Barbara) Lucas of Plattsburgh and Ellen Drewniak of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Isadore DeFayette of Plattsburgh and Orel DeFayette and his wife Theresa of Plattsburgh; one sister-in-law, Margaret DeFayette of Plattsburgh; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Valeda Hackett; and five brothers, Leo DeFayette, Medas DeFayette, Victor DeFayette, Phillip DeFayette and Alfred DeFayette. Drollette, 83, of Picketts Corners Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Saranac, N.Y., on June 13, 1922, the daughter of Henry and Eva (Hart) Garsow. Mrs. Drollette married Hugh F. Drollette Sr. on March 9, 1943, at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Mr. Drollette died Jan. 15, 1996. Irene had a great love for spending time with her family and friends. She always made everyone feel like family and could bring a smile to your face. Her comforting words and loving arms will forever be remembered and she will always hold a special place in the hearts of those she touched. Irene was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora. Survivors include 12 children, Hugh C. and Eva Drollette of Saranac, Georgette and Richard Couture of Dannemora, Jenny Dumas of Dannemora, Linda Drollette of Dannemora, Brenda and Donald Kramer of Dannemora, Barbara Bracken of Peru, Jackie Ryan of Cadyville, Walter Drollette and his fiancée Jill Heath of Saranac, Shirley Drollette of Dannemora, Bernadette and Gary Hart of Dannemora, Scott and Jill Drollette of Dannemora and Andrea and Scott Bosworth of Dannemora; 14 grandchildren, Hugh and Suzanne Drollette, Michael and Barb Drollette, Rick and Tonya Couture, Ron and Kim Couture, Kelly and Frank Valenti, Melissa and Mike Caraballo, Pat Ryan and his companion Crissy King, Stacy and Matt Poe, Stephanie Heath, Nicholas Drollette, Nathaniel Drollette, Matthew Drollette, Kalob Drollette and Brandon Bosworth; and nine great-grandchildren, Eric Drollette, Josh Drollette, Michael Drollette, Alyssa Couture, Austin Couture, Kaylee Couture, Parker Couture, Pacey Couture and Payton Couture. He was born in Bancroft, Maine, on Feb. 14, 1927, the son of George and Beulah (Muncey) White. He is survived by his wife Doris; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Alton White of Beekman, N.Y., Scott and Peggy White of Mooers Forks, Todd and Tricia White of Averill Park, N.Y.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and William Chase of Wingdale, Lillian and Chet Moore of Eastport, Maine, Lisa and Larry Lamora of Newport, Vt.; six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Clayton and Elda White of Bangor, Maine, Alston and Joyce Wood of Portland, Maine, Leslie and Doris Wood of Springfield, Fla., Arthur and Robin Wood of Springfield, Fla., Leland and Linda Wood of Springfield, Fla., Paul Wood of Hannawa Falls, N.Y.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ethlyn Huntley of Bangor, Maine, Yvonne Rollins of Wytopitlock, Maine, Lorraine and Sal Vinic of Wingdale; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Barbara DoxtaterWILLSBORO -- Barbara Doxtater, 72, of the Point Road, Willsboro, died at the Elizabethtown Hospital, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006. She was born in Norfolk, N.Y., Jan. 23, 1934, the daughter of James and JulieAnn (Christian) Brothers. Barbara is survived by her husband, George Doxtater. They made their home in Willsboro for the past 45 years. She was retired from Tambrands in Willsboro. She is also survived by three sisters, Eileen French of Massena, Sue Warner of Hannawa Falls and Jean Beauliew of DePyster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Michael George; two sisters; and two brothers. Calling hours will be held at the Huestis Funeral Home, Willsboro, N.Y., Friday, Feb. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m., with Rev. Jean Kanaly CarrollPLATTSBURGH -- Mrs. Jean Kanaly Carroll, 84, of Erin Court, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at the Meadowbrook Health Care facility with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on May 13, 1921, the daughter of Dennis and Dora (Wood) Kanaly. Jean had made her home in Cliff Haven for many years prior to moving to Erin Court. She was a librarian and second grade teacher at Peru Central School, retiring in 1976. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of the Monday Bridge Club. Jean was an active member of St. John's Church where she was a church organist and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Rev. Deacon George W. Carroll; her sons, John and Thomas Carroll; sisters, Frances Castaldo, Winifred Bromley and Doris Kanaly. Jean is survived by her son, James Carroll and his wife Gale of Plattsburgh; a granddaughter, Kelley Carroll of Gurnee, Ill.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Church. Interment will be at a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Shirley Pecor ALTONA -- Shirley Pecor, 76, of the Alder Bend Road, Altona, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Altona on Jan. 16, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Leah (Recor) Therrian. Shirley was known for her loving and giving spirit. She was an unselfish caregiver for her family as well as many others in need. She enjoyed the outdoors, but her life evolved around her home, children and grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by her parents; a son, Howard Pecor Jr.; her grandchildren, Molly and James; a great-grandchild, Cansas; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three daughters; Jean Gardner and her husband Paul of Dannemora, Star Peryea and her husband Roland of Altona, Deborah Drake of Altona; two sisters, Beatrice Rabideau of Altona, Genevieve Miller and her husband Hector of Plattsburgh; her former husband, Howard Pecor of Florida; and special friend, Alfred Accornero of Cambridge, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Altona. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, Altona. Interment will be at a later date at Holy Angels Cemetery.

She was born in Highland, N.Y., on June 29, 1917, the daughter of
William and Henrietta (Palmateer) Couse.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church in New Paltz, N.Y.,
on Feb. 25. Burial will follow in the Town of Lloyd cemetery.

HELEN E. WOOD - WHITE, 57, of Medway, Maine, died Feb. 7, 2006,
at St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor, Maine.

FRANCES JENNINGS, 94, of Long Lake, N.Y., died Feb. 8, 2006, at
the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home, North Creek, N.Y.
She was born in Athol, N.Y., the daughter of James and Frances (Shaw)
Goodman.
The family will greet friends beginning at noon on Sunday at St.
Henry's Parish Center in Long Lake. A memorial service will begin at 1
p.m. in the church. Graveside services will follow at Long Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Richer Funeral Home, Tupper Lake.
MARY DAVIS KELLY of Tupper Lake, N.Y., died Feb. 8, 2006, at the
Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid, a resident since January.
She was born Jan. 28, 1915, in Stockbridge, Mass., the daughter of Asa
James and Myra Louise (Killfoille) Davis.
Friends may call at the Richer Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 10, from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at
St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will be at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the
