Shirley A. GiannonePLATTSBURGH -- Shirley (Stana) Giannone, age 64, of Plattsburgh, formerly of Tonawanda, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in the Town of Tonawanda, N.Y., after a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Zawadski) Stana. Shirley was a 1960 graduate of Tonawanda High School and had been employed at the former Hills Department Store before moving to Plattsburgh. A resident of Plattsburgh for the greater part of her life, she was a member of Our Lady of Victory parish and the Ladies Auxiliary at the Knights of Columbus Council No. 13127 in Plattsburgh. She was the sister of the late Michael Stana. She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Giannone; two sons, Scott Wiley and Todd (Victoria) Wiley; a stepson, Scott Giannone; four sisters, Patricia Tyler, Susan Mioducki, Beverly (Dennis) Hurley and Cheryl Stana; and a brother, George (Diana) Stana. Also surviving are four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday, Feb. 11, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Friends are invited. Mousseau, 57, of the Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side, following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 21, 1948, the son of James and Marion (Garrant). Jim was a physical education teacher at Beekmantown Central School for 25 years, retiring due to ill health. While at Beekmantown, he coached many different sports. He was predeceased by his father, James Mousseau. Jim is survived by his children, James Mousseau and his girlfriend Leanna Welch of Plattsburgh, Jennifer Duffy and her husband Marc of Plattsburgh and their son Samuel; his mother, Marion Mousseau of Plattsburgh; three sisters, Mary Jane Rascoe and her husband William of Wymouth, Mass., Debbie Sears and her husband Terry of Beekmantown and Ruth Boismenu and her husband Brett of Liverpool, N.Y. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church. "Mame" Miller QUEENSBURY -- Marion (King) "Mame" Miller, 88, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at The Landing of Queensbury with her loving family by her side. She was born on Sept. 20, 1917, in Chazy, N.Y., the daughter of the late Lynn and Bernice (Niles) King. Marion was a volunteer at Sunny View Rehab-Center in Schenectady where she was the recipient of many accommodations and awards. She was also the past president of the Mother's Club of Plattsburgh and a member of the Garden Club in Plattsburgh and Cobleskill; she was an avid bridge player. Marion was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending summers in North Truro, Mass., with her husband of 59 years, the late Francis E. Miller, known to many as "Bud," who passed away in 1997. She was a parishioner of the First Methodist Church. Marion was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Francis E. Miller; and her grandson, Jeffrey Lloyd Mott. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan McFadden and her husband Tom of Plattsburgh and her daughter Ginny Mott and her husband Lloyd of Queensbury. Marion is also survived by her grandchildren, Mark McFadden of Williston, Vt., Elizabeth McFadden Dubay and her husband Steve of Peru, N.Y., Stephen McFadden of Plattsburgh, Dennis McFadden and his wife Joanne of Wilton, Kathleen McFadden-Mast and husband Jon of Milton, Vt., Suzanne Mott and Mauri Clark of Glens Falls, Dr. Timothy Mott and his wife Kitsie of Catania, Sicily, and Jennifer Goodwin and her husband Jeff of Queensbury; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsey, and Emily McFadden, Jack and Thomas Dubay, Miller, Mallory and Mason Mott, Megan and Emma Goodwin and Marion Mott Clark. Her survivors also include her brother, Lynn King and wife Gabrielle of Deltona, Fla., brother, Harold King and wife Carole of Richmond, Va.; and her sister, Lou Coates and her husband Jack of Schenectady; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial donations in Marion's name are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis at Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Ave., Albany, N.Y., or High Peaks Hospice, 286 Glen Street, Glens Falls 12801.
