Audrey A. Garrow

PLATTSBURGH -- Audrey A. Garrow, 83, of Bailey Avenue, passed away on Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Chestertown on Sept. 27, 1922, daughter of the late Albert and Grace Duell.

Audrey was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and walking.

Audrey is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Theresa Garrow of Plattsburgh and James and Susan Garrow of Peru; two daughters and sons-in-law, Eon and Jay Wishall of Derby, Kan., and Linda and Richard Jones of Bellville, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, Maria, Robert, Michelle, David, Sarah, Kristie, Heather, Michael, Chris, Chris, Shawn, Joshua and Zachary; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Ella; and several nieces and nephews.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Harold Garrow in 1992; her parents; three sisters and five brothers.

Calling hours will be Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be later in the year in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Donations in Audrey's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's or the sixth floor at CVPH Medical Center.

Ian Wilson Macbeth

CHAMPLAIN -- Ian Wilson Macbeth, 68, of Champlain passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1937, the son of the late Samuel and Bertha (Crussell) Macbeth.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed nature.

Ian is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Carole Macbeth; two daughters, Heather Montour and her husband Steve from Chateauguay, Quebec and Caren Maccallum and her husband Darren of Chateauguay, Quebec. He was lovingly called "Grumpy" by his four grandchildren, Bryanna, Kyle, Ryan and Shayne. He also leaves behind one sister, Claudia Toohey and her husband Harold from Barrie, Ontario.

Calling hours will be Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

William Harold Cramer

WILLSBORO -- William Harold Cramer, 84, died at. his home on Lakeshore Drive, Willsboro, Jan. 21, 2006, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He was born in Albany, N.Y., June 6, 1921, the son of William H. and Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Cramer.

In April 1947, he married Lillian (Oliver).

Mr. Cramer worked at the Watervliet Arsenal as a machinist for 25 years retiring in 1982.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 and attained the rank of master sergeant. He commanded a tank division under Gen. George Patton and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

In 1963, he and his wife established a home on Willsboro Point, to where they eventually retired.

Mr. Cramer is survived by his wife Lillian; a son, William Cramer III and his wife Donna of Milford Conn.; a daughter, Sandy Hammond of Lewis, N.Y.; and grandchildren, Carlee Hammond of Willsboro, Nathaniel Hammond of Lewis and Angela and William Cramer of Milford, Conn.

Memorial services for Mr. Cramer will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 160 Central Ave. Albany, N.Y., on Feb. 11, 2006, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service.
