Thomas E. BusheyBEEKMANTOWN -- Thomas E. Bushey, 74, of the Spellman Road, Beekmantown died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 22, 1931, the son of Ernest and Catherine (Recor) Bushey. Thomas married Nancy Royal at St. Peter's Church on June 5, 1954. Mr. Bushey was a member of St. Peter's Church. He was a machine operator for Georgia Pacific for 39 years retiring in 1987. Mr. Bushey enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bushey; two sons, Thomas Bushey and his wife Kathleen of Morrisonville and Kevin Bushey and his wife Diane of Beekmantown; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Noreen) Allbright of Ofallon, Ill., Mrs. Dwayne (Melanie) Smart of Altona and Mrs. Robin (Penny) Bushey of Ticonderoga; one brother, Melvin Bushey and his wife Huquette of Albany; four sisters, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Peryer of West Chazy, Mrs. Ben (Carol) Edwards of Beekmantown, Sandy Turner of Plattsburgh and Nila McCorkell of Plattsburgh; 11 grandchildren, Darrel Allbright and Lisa Olliges, Travis, Nicholas and Matthew Bushey, Keith and Heather Bushey, Shawn and Jason Smart and Eric and Joshua Warren; three great-grandchildren, Rose, Annalise and Damon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Gaylord Bushey and his wife Katherine; and three brothers-in-law, John Turner, Donald Wood and Bill McCorkell. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be at a later date in the spring in St. Peter's Cemetery. Anita LeClairePLATTSBURGH -- Anita LeClaire, 79, of Plattsburgh passed into the arms of the Lord Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1926, in Easthampton, Mass., the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Monette) LaBarge. She retired from the Champlain Telephone Company in 1985. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Louis LeClaire; two daughters, Gloria J. Hunt and Jeannette Veivia; three grandchildren, Lisa Cluette, Bobby Hunt and his wife Suzanne, Tina Wilson and her husband William; six great-grandchildren, Rebbeca and Austin Hunt, Kelly Worman, Ashley, Nick and Chelsea Draper; four step-grandchildren, Rebecca, Tommy, Shawn and Bobby LeClaire. One great-great-granddaughter and one great-great grandson. Her father, mother and twin sister predeceased her. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church in Champlain. Blanche LangloisWEST CHAZY -- Mrs. Blanche "Anita" Langlois, 74, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Chazy, N.Y., on March 23, 1931, the daughter of Emile and Aurora (Fortin) Langlois. Blanche retired from Packaging Corporation in 1988 after 27 years. Her greatest joy in life was being with her family. She loved to bake and cook and got great pleasure in teaching her great-granddaughter, Bianca Deno how to cook. She always thought of everyone else first and thought of herself last. Her love and kindness will be forever missed. Blanche was predeceased by two brothers, Aurelle and Lionel Langlois; and two sisters, Mary Lamoy and Aurella Dobbins. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Gagnier and her husband Michael of West Chazy; a granddaughter, Heather Deno and her husband James of West Chazy; a great-granddaughter, Bianca Deno of West Chazy; a brother, Francis "Chick" Langlois of West Chazy; three sisters, Simone Kelley of Plattsburgh, Jeannette Kelley of Plattsburgh and Loretta Forbes of Chicago, Ill.; several nieces and nephews. At Blanche's request there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church West Chazy with the Rev. Harry Giroux, pastor officiating. Interment will be later next year at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.

WILLIAM B. MCCLAY SR., 73, of Elbow Street, Malone, N.Y., died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at his home while under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country, Inc. He was born in Summit, N.J., Jan. 13, 1932, the son of the late William and Vivian Vanlennep McClay Sr. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. of Malone.
