Leola I. SprossPLATTSBURGH " Leola I. Spross, 93, of LaFayette Street, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at her home. She was born in Tarkio, Mo., on Dec. 5, 1911, the daughter of Obed and Essie Irene (White) Smith. She married Edward Frank Spross on March 29, 1944, at Camp McCain, Miss. Leola worked as a telephone operator for Key Bank from 1948 until retiring in 1976. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Plattsburgh and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the spring in the Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Memorial donations may be made to any local veteran's organization. Norman R. CollinsEDGEWATER, FLA. " Norman R. Collins, 58, of Edgewater, Fla., passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, in Gainesville, Fla. Formerly of Dannemora, N.Y., Norm served the New York State Department of Corrections for 25 years, retiring in 2004 from Clinton Correctional Facility. Norm enjoyed history, gardening, debating and spending time with his family. He is survived by Dianne, his wife of 28 years; his son Richard and daughter-in-law Heather Collins of Malden, Mass.; his mother, Enid Collins of Port Orange, Fla.; a sister, Lesley and husband Richard Miller of Covington, Ky.; and a brother, Gordon, of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Kennedy and William and Christina Kennedy of Florida; along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held by the family on Friday, Nov. 25. Norm will be deeply missed by his family and friends, especially his faithful companions Buster and Penny.

EVA M. ROBARGE, 84, formerly of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died
Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in
Plattsburgh.
She was born in Sciota, Nov. 2, 1921, the daughter of Ira and Leah
(Goodman) Rock.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. A memorial Mass will be celebrated
Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church in Keeseville with the Rev. Peter
R. Riani, pastor of St. Elizabeth's Church in Elizabethtown and St. Philip
Neri Church in Westport, celebrating and the Rev. Leeward J. Poissant,
pastor, concelebrating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in
Keeseville.

BENJAMIN FULLER ALLEN, 89, of Morrison Avenue, Plattsburgh, died
Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 30, 1915, the son of Benjamin Isaac
and Cornelia Nichols (Hagar) Allen.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the
R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the United
Methodist Church in Plattsburgh.
Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.
