Macaria M. ProvostPLATTSBURGH -- Macaria M. Provost, 87, formerly of Lakeview Towers, Plattsburgh, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 25, 1918, daughter of the late John and Rose (Bell) Parrotte. Macaria was retired from Diamond International, she was a life member of the Peru Rod and Gun Club. Macaria is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Arvice Parrotte of Saranac; a grandson, Richard Parrotte Jr. and his companion Crystal of Plattsburgh; two sisters, Ethel Dick of New Hampshire and Kathleen Santori of Plattsburgh; several stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Macaria was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Provost in 2003; her brothers, Roy, Stanley and Floyd; her sisters, Florence and Grace. Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. from Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh with the Rev. Floyd "Jerry" Bleaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Emma V. OlshewskyELLENBURG -- Emma Victoria Olshewsky, 103, formerly of Ellenburg, died on Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at the Calvin Coolidge Nursing Home in Northampton, Mass. She was born in Altona on March 21, 1902, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Houle) Fisher. She was a seamstress for many years and was employed by the American Made Shoe Factory in Easthampton, Mass., and also owned a restaurant. She enjoyed crocheting and sold many of her creations. She was a member of the Easthampton Senior Center. She is survived by 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three husbands, Hormidas Ashline, Armand Duquette and Michael Olshewsky. Three sons, Hormidas Jr., Peter and Roy Ashline; and a daughter, Emma Miller, also died earlier. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Howard McCasland, administrator of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Churubusco officiating. The pallbearers will be Joe Bagdonas, Linclon King, Dan Ashline, Albert Ashline III, Charles Ashline and Eddie Ashline. Interment will follow in St. Edmund's Cemetery in
Ellenburg.

RUTH M. PELKEY, 77, of Evergreen Valley Nursing Home and
formerly of Lakeview Towers died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005.
She was born in Champlain on Oct. 11, 1928, the daughter of Joseph and
Ida Eva (Baugh) LaRocque.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the R.W.
Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated Thursday at noon at Our Lady of Victory Church. Burial will
follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
MICHAEL J. ADAMS, 52, of Saranac Lake, died Monday, Nov. 14,
2005, at his home.
He was born Sept. 27, 1953, in Massena, N.Y., the son of Merton and
Alice (Morgan) Adams.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. The funeral service will be
held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Bernard's Church.
TIM P. PAIEMENT, 49, of 17 Vachereau, Tupper Lake died
unexpectedly at his home.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fortune-Keough-Rennell
Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m.
at Holy Name Church.
