William Henry StephensonFRUITLAND PARK, Fla. -- William Henry Stephenson, 85, of Fruitland Park, Fla., died on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005. He was born in Wilmington, the son of Guy H. and Mary (Pelkey) Stephenson on Nov. 4, 1920. He formerly lived in Willsboro. Upon retiring from the Grand Union, he moved to Fruitland Park. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; three sisters, Beatrice Lawrence and Mary Cooper of Wilmington and Margaret Stephenson of Lake Placid; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Celia Stephenson of Wilmington. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucretia Cooley; his parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Pauline Stephenson and Guy and Gladys Stephenson; and an infant sister, Lucy. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, at the Reber Cemetery in Reber. Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Doris B. RyanPLATTSBURGH -- Doris B. Ryan, 84, of Clinton County Nursing Home, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Peru, N.Y., on Dec. 25, 1920, the daughter of Willard and Laura (Patno) Owens. Doris enjoyed acrylic painting, crossword puzzles and word-search puzzles. She was predeceased by her parents, Willard and Laura Owens; her husband, Anthony Ryan; a companion, Orville Jennette; a daughter, Jean Stone; and a brother, James Owens. Doris is survived by her children, Doris Leazott of Plattsburgh, Clayetta Gonyo and her husband, John, of Davenport, Fla., Laura "Lolly" Steffen and her husband, Paul, of Plattsburgh, Orville Ryan and his wife, Tina, of Beekmantown; her sisters, Sharon Raisch of Peru, Teresa Bell of Peru; a brother, Willard "Butch" Owens and his wife, Irene, of New Jersey; a son-in-law Clayton Stone of Beekmantown; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William G. Reamer, chaplain at CVPH Medical Center, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Chazy. Friends wishing may make donations to the charity of one's choice.

2005, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

LEON J. DUTIL, 54, of Champlain, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, in
Vermont. Arrangements are incomplete with M.B. Clark Funeral Home and will
appear in a full obituary in Tuesday's Press-Republican.
GORDON "SANDY" JOHNSTON, 66, of the Johnston Road, Burke,
died Nov. 13, 2005, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. at the Chateaugay Funeral Home. A complete funeral notice will be
announced in Tuesday's Press-Republican.
MARY ELIZABETH RYAN of Rockville, Md., died Nov. 9, 2005, at Wilson
Healthcare Center at Asbury Methodist Village after a courageous battle
with cancer.
Born Sept. 5, 1933, in Troy, she was the daughter of Thomas J. and
Isabel (Carroll) Ryan.
The family moved to Tupper Lake in 1941.
A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at St.
Alphonsus Church in Tupper Lake. The family will receive visitors in the
vestibule of the church starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St.
Alphonsus Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mary's
name, in care of Richer Funeral Home, 29 Park St., Tupper Lake, NY 12986.
JOHN P. CRIMMINS of Logan Lane, Tupper Lake, died Nov. 9, 2005,
at Blossom Health Care Center in Rochester.
Jack was born in 1919 in Worcester, Mass., the son of Dennis P. and
Mary H. Crimmins.
He was a member of Tupper Lake Ambulance Squad for many years.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church in Tupper
Lake at noon today, Nov. 14. Burial will take place in Saratoga National
Cemetery in Schuylerville at 2 p.m. Nov. 25.
