Aileen Harriet MitchellWILLSBORO -- Aileen Harriet Mitchell, 75, of Willsboro, N.Y., died at her home Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005. She was born in Willsboro May 15, 1930, the daughter of Leroy and Isabelle (Betters) Drinkwine. Mrs. Mitchell, after 33 years working, retired in 1990 from the Horace Nye Nursing Home. She was a former member of the Saturday night Mixed Bowling League in Willsboro. In 1947, she married Sam Mitchell. They raised six children of their own and a niece and a nephew, Cathy and William Drinkwine. Sam predeceased her in 1996. She was also predeceased by her parents; and two brothers, Bruce and Franklin Drinkwine. Aileen is survived by her children and their spouses, Wayne and Geraldine Mitchell of Lake Placid, Jane and Frank Bashaw of Willsboro, Wendy and Alan Aubin of Elizabethtown, George Mitchell of Ludowici, Ga., Greg and Gael Mitchell of Willsboro and Stacey and Sally Mitchell of Port Kent. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tammy Bashaw, Sam Crowningshield, Pam Bashaw, Darrin Mitchell, Megan DiMartino, Christina Vradenburg, Rebecca Mitchell, Wayne Mitchell Jr., Kyle Mitchell, Scott Mitchell, Chris McCray, Rodney McCray, Jamie Duso and Rick Low; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and his wife, Alan and Rose Drinkwine of Harkness; a sister and her husband Phyllis and Ellis McCray of Willsboro; and many nieces and nephews. There are no scheduled calling hours. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Huestis Funeral Home in Willsboro with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Lakeshore Road, Willsboro. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Willsboro-Reber Rescue Squad. Donald J. BrusoSPRING VALLEY "" Donald J. Bruso, 77, a 50 year resident of Spring Valley and New York City, N.Y., passed away Oct. 25, 2005. He was born in Scotia, N.Y., on June 4, 1928 to Venita and Elrick Bruso. Don is survived by his mother; two brothers, Arnold and his wife Loretta of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Al and his wife Eileen of Paramus, N.J. He is also survived by his aunt; nieces, grandnieces; nephews; grandnephews, cousins and many friends. Prior to beginning his career as a teacher, Don served 3 years during the Korean War, as an Air Force Staff Sergeant. Don enjoyed 50 years as an educator, coach and administrator in the Spring Valley Schools. He retired in 1985 as Hempstead School principal. Don was proud of being elected president of the New York State Administrators Association during his tenure as principal. He was looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of his graduation from State University of New York at Plattsburgh this October. Arrangements were handled by Sniffen-Sagla Funeral Home in Spring Valley. A memorial service will be held for Donald on Nov. 12 in Sciota, N.Y. Memorial donations may be sent to Evergreen Valley Nursing Home, 8 Bushey Blvd., Plattsburgh, NY 12901. Wayne J. BrewsterJOHNSTOWN, N.Y. -- Wayne J. Brewster, 63, of S. Melcher Street, Johnstown, N.Y., passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at the Nathan Littauer Hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1942, in Port Henry, N.Y., the son of Francis and Thurlah Jerome Brewster. Wayne graduated from Port Henry High School. Mr. Brewster worked for Dexter Transport as a medical transport driver. He was an avid golfer. On June 17, 1981, he married Marilyn Stock in Johnstown, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Stock Brewster of Johnstown; two daughters, Shelly Riach and her husband Steve of Gloversville and Lori Kronk of Johnstown; a sister, Emma Jean Drumnone of Lewis, N.Y.; a brother, Robert Brewster of Rouses Point, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Jason, Nicole and Steven Riach and Matthew and Ryan Kronk; one great-granddaughter, Jaidyn Riach; and nieces, nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown with the Rev. Paul Butler, pastor of Sacred Heart Gloversville, officiating. Arrangements are by the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher St., Johnstown.

Lakeland, Ga., died on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at Fellowship Home in
Nashville.
She was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Clinton County, N.Y., the daughter of
Stella Violet (Hayes) and Harry F. Mooney.
There will be a memorial Mass held at St. Joseph's Church on the
Military Turnpike on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at 11 a.m.
