Deaths:

CATHERINE A. MIDLAM, 101, died Oct. 29, 2005, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid, where she had been a resident since Dec. 5, 1997.

She was born in Jamestown, N.Y., Aug. 28, 1904, the daughter of Frederick and Anna Armitage.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jamestown, N.Y., at a later date. The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid, N.Y., is in charge of arrangements.

CHARLES MACE MOODY, 59, of Old Lake Clear Road, Lake Clear, N.Y., died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

He was born in Lake Clear, N.Y., on July 15, 1946, the son of Mace and Doris (Donaldson) Moody.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, from 4 to 6:45 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Lake Clear on Friday, Nov. 4, 2005.

BERNADETTE MARIE KING, 88, of the Begor Home, Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh and formerly of South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Cadyville, Sept. 14, 1917, the daughter of Peter Sam and Harriet (Bleau) Trudeau.

Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Peru Community Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Svenson, pastor, officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the God's Acre Cemetery in Peru.

Arrangements are by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru.

MARGARET J. BASHAW, 90, formerly of North Bend Street, Peru, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Nov. 22, 1914, the daughter of Samuel and Agnes (Drysdale) Bashaw.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru.
