Obituaries:
Kevin V. Richardson
PERU -- Kevin V. Richardson, 43, of the Fuller Road, Peru, passed to a more peaceful place, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005 in Keeseville. He was born on Christmas, 1961, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Richard and Cecilia (Lanoix) Richardson. Kevin graduated from Wyandanch High School. He married Fontilla A. Kelty, Feb. 14, 1987, in Bay Shore, Long Island. He owned and operated Interstate Tanneries in Plattsburgh where he has worked for more than 20 years. Kevin enjoyed his work as a taxidermist, hunting, fishing, listening to music, but most of all spending time in his garage with his many friends. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Fontilla A. Richardson of Peru; two daughters, Kyris Smith of Peru and Rockell Richardson of Florida; a young man with whom held a very special place in Kevin's heart, Adam Locklin, USMC; a granddaughter; his mother, Cecilia Richardson of Keeseville Country Gardens; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Roger Richardson and Ronald and Debra Richardson, all of Virginia and Charles Richardson of Albany; his mother-in-law, Roberta Scott; two brothers-in-law, DonJuan Kelty and Melvin (Theresa) Scott; a sister-in-law, Alvin Scott; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A time for prayers, poems and memories will follow at 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home with Pastor David W. Drake of the Good Shepard Church of the Nazarene in Keeseville leading. Donations in his memory may be made to his family.

SHAWN W. DORA, 40, of Spring Hill, Fla., died Oct. 20, 2005, at
Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill, Fla.
Arrangements are incomplete through the Chateaugay Funeral Home and
will be announced later.
ELIZABETH A. "BETTY" (CROTO) GUNNING, 76, formerly of
Pinnacle Street and most recently of the Moses-Ludington Adult Home of
Ticonderoga, died Oct. 21, 2005, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital of Utica.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and under the
direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
