Inez A. Rock
MORRISONVILLE -- Inez A. Rock, 87, formerly of Mason Street, Morrisonville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Morrisonville on Jan. 20, 1918, daughter of the late Frederick and Florence (Gordon) Rock Jr. Inez was a member of St. Alexander's Parish in Morrisonville. Inez is survived by two sons, Ellis "Rocky" Rock and his companion Charlotte Dashnaw of Morrisonville and Wendell and Renee Rock of Plattsburgh; one daughter, Marilyn and Kester Wright of Peru; three sisters, Doris Loop of Peru, Ruth Allen of Morrisonville and Beverly Carte of Peru; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Inez was predeceased by her husband, Conley Rock on Nov. 18, 1991; a daughter, Doris Robinson; one grandson, Clark Wright; four brothers, Frank, Maynard, Kenneth and Roger Rock; and one sister, Letty Wells Rabideau. Calling hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at 10 a.m. from St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Morrisonville Rescue Squad.
Marie O. Plante
MOOERS -- Marie O. Plante, 88, formerly of Mooers, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at the Lakeshore Hospital in Hanover, N.Y. She was born in Mooers Forks on Oct. 2, 1917, the daughter of Ozie and Pearl (Morah) Plante. She attended Canton A.T.C. and graduated from Syracuse University. She was a hospital dietitian in New Jersey and Philadelphia and later was a dietitian at the University of Rochester and later at Bell Canada in Montreal where she retired in 1979 after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and St. Joseph's Church in Mooers. She is survived by a sister, Bernadette Mousaw of Derby, N.Y.; three nephews, James Plante of Washington, Joel Mousaw of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and John Mousaw of Hamburg, N.Y.; and a niece, Patricia Mousaw of Derby, N.Y. Two brothers, Paul and Richard Plante, died earlier. Funeral services will be held in Hamburg, N.Y., on Wednesday and a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from St. Joseph's Cemetery in Mooers. The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers is in charge of arrangements. Patricia JacobsSARANAC LAKE --Patricia Jacobs. age 74, of Payville Lane, Saranac Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid. Born in Saranac Lake on Nov. 30, 1930, she was the daughter of Charles and Jessie (Woodruff) Johnson. Patricia was a life-long resident of Saranac Lake and had been employed by the Saranac Lake Dress Factory until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Carl Jacobs, whom she married Feb. 27, 1965; two brothers, Basil Johnson of Bloomingdale and Norman Johnson and his wife Margaret of Saranac Lake; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Johnson; her mother, Jessie Woodruff Johnson; her sister, Mildred Spinner; and her brothers, Woody Johnson, Carl Johnson and William Johnson. Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Patrick O'Reilly officiating. Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery in Gebriels. Friends wishing to remember Pat may make memorial contributions to Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
Myron E. Bull
CADYVILLE -- Myron E. Bull, 82, of Hardscrable Road, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at his residence. He was born in Saranac, N.Y., on April 8, 1923, the son of Ransom J. and Jennie (Lamkins) Bull. Myron married the former Genevieve Wright in Saranac on July 24, 1948. He worked as an independent truck driver for over 30 years until his retirement in 1980. Myron was a devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, people and living life to its fullest. Myron attended the Cadyville Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Saranac Senior Citizens. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Genevieve of Cadyville; two daughters, Norma Breyette of Cadyville and Cynthia Quilliam of Rockville, Md.; one foster son, David Wright and his wife April of Cadyville; one brother, Alvin J. Bull and his wife Jane of Saranac; one sister, Norma Duquette and her husband Clifford Duquette of Cadyville; four grandchildren, Gregory Wright, Beth Wright, Phillip Wright and Sarah Wright, all of Cadyville; and several nieces and nephews. Myron was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, Forrest Bull in 1980. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the R.W. Walker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Turcotte of the Cadyville Wesleyan Church conducting the services. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery in Saranac. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Saranac Rescue Squad.

2005, at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.

HOWARD KIRK POTTER, 88, of Cromp Road, Belmont, N.Y., died
unexpectedly, Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Cortland, N.Y., Oct. 5, 1917, he was the son of the late
Maurice and Louella White Potter.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral service will be held
Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joseph
Selenski officiating. Burial will be in the Belmont Cemetery.
