Claire M. HugginsMOOERS FORKS " Claire M. Huggins, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Perrys Mills on Jan. 24, 1919, the daughter of the late Wiliam and Florence Mesick. She loved cooking, gardening, bird watching, singing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Pearl Caron of Plattsburgh, Beatrice (Francis) Gero of Massena, Owen (Maria) Huggins of Scotia, Shirley (Paul) Trombley of Plattsburgh, Linda (John) Lowden of Quebec, John Huggins and companion Elaine Squires of Mooers Forks, Lorraine (Roger) Surprenant of Las Vegas, Nev., Gary (Rose) Huggins of Connecticut; her brothers, William (Minnie) Mesick of Florida, George Mesick of Hammondsport, Sam (Alice) Mesick of Mooers Forks; her sisters, Virginia Latour of Plattsburgh, Stella (Frank) Rabideau of Plattsburgh, Gladys (Eldmour) Manor of Mooers Forks, Catherine Sabourin of Champlain, Shirley (Carl) LaDue of Chazy; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Owen A. Huggins died on June 8, 1972. A grandson, Daniel Huggins; two brothers, Hector and Willard Mesick; and a sister, Victoria Sweetser also died earlier. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Ann's Church in Mooers Forks. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Anthony PetrashuneLYON MOUNTAIN " Anthony Petrashune, 89, of Pete Street, Lyon Mountain died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, N.Y. Born in Lyon Mountain, N.Y., on Feb. 23, 1916, he was the son of Stanley and Sofia (Kwetcian) Petrashune. Mr. Petrashune is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Frances Gould of Lyon Mountain, Mary Petrashune of Lyon Mountain and Josephine and Henry Ryan of Dannemora; four brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Janet Petrashune of Delaware, Frank and Marie of Dannemora, Michael and Nancy Petrashune of Chazy Lake and Thomas and Jeanette Petrashune of Saranac; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Stanley and John Petrashune. Mr. Petrashune was employed as a heavy equipment operator for 30 years by Republic Steel, Lyon Mountain. He was also employed by Talbert's for six years. He was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain and a member of Polanders Hunting Camp. Calling hours were held at the Lyon Mountain Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22 in St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Donald Cramberg officiating. Burial will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Lyon Mountain. Donations in his memory may be made to Lyon Mountain Fire Department. Arrangements are through the Chateaugay Funeral Home.

June 24, 2005.
She was born Sept. 25, 1925 in St. Sebastian, Quebec.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at St. Patrick's
Church in Rouses Point at noon. Burial will follow the Mass.
MARJORIE (BOULERICE) DUNCKLE, 76, of Valley Forge, Pa., formerly
of Mooers, N.Y., died on Sept. 2, 2005, at St. Martha Manor, Downingtown,
Pa.
Marjorie was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha Boulerice of
Mooers, N.Y.
The funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at St. Monica Church,
Berwyn, Pa. Interment was held at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of
Prussia, Pa.
