Lisa J. LaFountainROUSES POINT — Lisa J. LaFountain, 46, of Rouses Point died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1959 in Plattsburgh the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Dupee) Demers. Lisa attended local schools and married Lowell J. LaFountain. She enjoyed watching TV., listening to music with her husband of 27 years, and she was an Elvis fan. She enjoyed going for rides with her family and spending time with her grandchildren in whom she took great pride. Survivors include her husband, Lowell of Rouses Point, her mother and stepfather, Ruth and Ernest Behan of Champlain, her two sons, Adam J. LaFountain of Chazy and Lowell Joseph LaFountain Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, of Plattsburgh, one daughter, Jennifer R. LaDuke and her companion Albert Martin of Rouses Point, four grandchildren, Nathan LaDuke, Matthew LaFountain, Patricia Kilburn, and Joseph Cota Kilburn, and two sisters, Mary Bentley and her husband, Dave of Buskirk, NY and Darlene Lapan and her husband Jerry of Rouses Point. She was predeceased by her father, Raymond Demeres, two sisters, Tammy Ruth and Marie Ann, and her four grandparents. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St. in Champlain. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the family. Avah E. HonsingerELLENGBURG CENTER
— Avah E. Honsinger, 78, died Saturday Sept. 17, 2005 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ellenburg Center on October 2, 1927, the daughter of Kermit and Erma (Whalen) Honsinger. She attended local schools and graduated from Ellenburg High School in 1948. She was employed as a secretary at the Clinton County Department of Social Services for over 36 years. She was a member of the Ellenburg Center United Methodist Church. She also assisted with the family farm and enjoyed caring for the Ayrshire cattle. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Kermit and Gloria Honsinger of Ellenburg Center, two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Rondo of Clifton Park, Patricia Gonyea of Fort Myers, Fl., and several nieces and nephews. Her parents died before her. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Megan Stowe officiating. Burial will follow at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot.

EDWARD V. ALVAREZ JR., 73, of Fort Brown, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Nogales, Ariz., on Jan. 7, 1932, son of the late Edward V. and Irma Alvarez Sr. There will be no public calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the family's convenience. Arrangements are with Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Carlton B. McDonald, 94, of Reservoir Street, Malone, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Born in Owls Head on May 9, 1911, he was the son of the late Lewis and Elizabeth Blair McDonald. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today in the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cembetery in Malone. LEON H.
STOLLOW, 89, a resident of Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid and formerly of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. He was born in Boston, Mass., on Jan. 3, 1916, the son of William and Pauline (Richfield) Stollow. There are no calling hours. A graveside service for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Haselton Cemetery in Wilmington. Rabbi Alec Friedmann will officiate. The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
