She was born in Altona on Dec. 3, 1927, daughter of the late William and Blanche (Clark) Ladue.
Pearl was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Chazy and was employed at Chazy Orchards for many years. She dedicated her life to her family as a devoted wife, nobly attending to the affairs of the household, always faithful and true, a loving mother, gracefully caring to the needs of her children who brought her so much joy and a wonderful grandmother, so proud of her flower bed of grandchildren that she would light up every time she saw them.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Carl E. Munson, of Chazy; five children, Wayne Munson and his wife Mary of Pittsgrove, N.J., John Munson and his wife Patricia of West Chazy, Richard Munson and his wife Audrey of Chazy, Deborah Naples and her husband John of Bensalem, Pa., and Cathy Devins and her husband Ray of Chazy; four brothers and sisters, Pauline Provost of West Chazy, Alfred LaDue and his wife Myrtle of Chateaugay, Joyce Manor of Altona and Carl LaDue and his wife Shirley of Chazy; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pearl was predeceased by a son, Rodney Munson; two brothers, Harold and Earl LaDue; and a sister, Doris LaBarge.
Calling hours were held Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Victor S. "Vic" Corron
PLATTSBURGH -- Mr. Victor S. "Vic" Corron, 87, of the Spellman Road in Beekmantown, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at Meadowbrook Health Care Facility with his daughters by his side.
He was born in Clayburg on March 15, 1918, the son of Charles and Celina (LaFountain) Corron.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army as a platoon sergeant. He spent four years in the European Theatre, 4th Infantry, 22nd Battalion, Company C. He was present at the invasion of Normandy at Utah Beach, the Battle of the Bulge and the liberation of Paris. He received the Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts and numerous other commendations.
He was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Thomas F. Duffy Post 1466 in Beekmantown and was a member of the American Legion Post 20.
He had been self employed as a farmer and a foreman for Fletcher Murnane Construction Company. He later worked and retired from Beekmantown Central School after 33 years. He enjoyed watching TV, reading, Expos baseball, building, bowling, tinkering, animals, taking care of his home and yard and spending time with his family.
Vic was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Celina Corron; a brother, Remie Corron; his sisters, Agnes Myers, Anna Manley, Lela "Lil" Provost and Flora "Cassie" Fountain.
He is survived by his wife, Florence (Lucia) Corron of Beekmantown, whom he married June 17, 1947; two daughters, Carletta Corron of Beekmantown and Nancy Corron of Beekmantown; his granddaughter, Wendy Fresn of Albany; a sister, Florence Botten of Plattsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. At Victor's request, a private funeral service will be held from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1466 are asked to meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home for services.

Bernadette Ann Mosier
TICONDEROGA -- Bernadette Ann Mosier, 54, of The Portage, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga.
Born in Ticonderoga, Aug. 27, 1951, she was the daughter of Bernard and Joyce (Smith) Schryer.
Bernadette has been a lifelong resident of Ticonderoga. She was employed by Wal-Mart of Ticonderoga as manager of the meat department for the past seven years. Prior to that she was employed by the P & C Market and Ti Market of Ticonderoga for many years.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 224 of Ticonderoga.
She is survived by her parents, Bernard and Joyce Schryer of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Ticonderoga; three sons, Jerry B. "Butch" Mosier and his wife Angela, Jason A. Mosier and his wife Julie and Adam D. Mosier and his companion Nicki, all of Ticonderoga; one daughter, Alyce D. Frazier and her companion Dan of Ticonderoga; one brother, Randy Schryer of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Brenda Martin and Lisa McDonough, both of Ticonderoga; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including Angel Scuderi, who she resided with. She is also survived by her special friend, Don Trinci.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. William G. Muench, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga, will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will take place at the family plot of St. Mary's Parish Cemetery of Ticonderoga.
Norma M. Soper
REBER -- Norma M. Soper, 83, of the Reber Valley Road, died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 5, 2005 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Center in Burlington, Vt.
She was born in Essex, Jan. 26, 1922, the daughter of Marshall D. Jr. and Maud S. (James) Phillips.
She graduated from Westport Central School. She married Rodney M. Soper on Oct. 11, 1941 in Essex. Together she and her husband worked and managed Reber Valley Farms for more than 50 years.
She and her husband were members of the Dairylea Milk Coop; she served in the leadership role in agriculture in Essex County, becoming a Dairylea advisory committeewoman. She promoted dairy products at the Essex County Fair in the Dairylea booth. She was a firm believer in the women's role in the agricultural field.
They were lifetime members of the Agway Coop. She served on the Women's Farm Bureau; she served on the Farmers Home Administration Board of Directors. She was a member of the Willsboro Planning Board. They were members of the Mountain Doers Square Dance Club arid they enjoyed contra dancing. She volunteered at the Horace Nye Home weekly. She enjoyed preparing large meals for her husband and family, canning vegetables and fruit from their abundant garden, enjoyed her flowers, horses, cats and daily crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Rodney M. Soper of Reber; two daughters and sons in law, Carol and Philip Dickerson of Reber and Linda and Larry Brown of Reber; one son, Steven Soper and companion Sally Keesee of Lewis; a daughter in law, Doris Soper of Willsboro; two sisters, Virginia Cross of Reber and Elizabeth Koplish of Hackensack, N.J.; two brothers and sisters in law, LeRoy and Mary Phillips of South Carolina and Clarence and Rita Phillips of Elizabethtown; sister in law, Marion Beede of Westport; eight grandchildren, Darren, Duane, Gregg and wife Angie, Leane and Dan, Shane and fiancée Bridget, Elizabeth and companion Jim, Stevie and companion Tracy and Ryan; six great grandchildren, Rachael, Rebecka, Jade, Autumn, Rachael and Sieanna; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Beatrice Horton; two brothers, Norman Phillips and infant brother Marshall.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Westport. A time for reflections and prayers will be held at 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Reber Cemetery.

Robert A. Ahern
SARANAC -- Robert A. Ahern, 83, of the Redmond Road, Saranac, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Saranac, July 5, 1922, the son of Andrew and Eva (Hanlon) Ahern.
He attended Sallaz Academy in Redford. Bob began college at age 16 at St. Michael's College. Following graduation with a bachelor of arts degree in 1943, he joined the U.S. Navy. After being honorably discharged from the military, he studied at St. Lawrence University and graduated with a master's degree in education.
Bob was employed as senior examiner with the Clinton County Department of Social Services from 1967 until his retirement in 1985. Prior to that, he taught in several upstate schools.
He was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford and a past member of the Plattsburgh Post 20 American Legion. He was an active member of the Sallaz Academy Alumni.
Survivors include his cousins, Timothy and Sadie Ahern of Saranac, Michael and Shirley Ahern of Saranac, Mrs. Francis (Sandra) Ahern of Saranac, Ruth Slobody of Florida and Marion Agrelius of Kansas.
He was predeceased by his parents; three cousins, Francis Ahern, Mary (Ahern) Yanulavich and Edna Stuetzel; and many other cousins.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Redford, with the Rev. Francis J. Coryer, pastor, celebrating and the Rev. Philip Allen concelebrating. Burial and military honors will follow in the parish cemetery.

Roger William Provost
BALTIMORE -- On Aug. 19, 2005, Roger William Provost, age 56, passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna M. (Pecorella) Provost; devoted father of Domenica Stone and her husband Robert and Jocelyn Provost; cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Cara Stone; loving brother of Rosalind Pelletier and Dennis Provost and his wife Cathy. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Roger was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Aug. 28, 1948. He was the son of Grace and Elmer Provost of Plattsburgh, both deceased.
Roger was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School and the State University of Buffalo. He was an industrial arts teacher and school librarian for the Baltimore County school system in Baltimore, Md., until his retirement.
Calling hours were held Monday, Aug. 22, at the Schimunek Funeral Home and a funeral Mass held on Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment was private.
