Rita M. Emerson
Mooers Forks —
Rita M. Emerson, 83, of Lamberton Road, passed away on Thursday, Sept.
1, 2005, at her home, under the loving care of her granddaughter, Debbie
Rabideau and Ernest Gay and Hospice.
She was born in
Cadyville on Jan. 21, 1922, daughter of the late Walter and Minnie (Coryer)
Burnell. Rita was a member of St. Ann's Church in Mooers Forks. She
enjoyed bingo, cooking and sewing.
Rita is survived
by a son and daughter-in-law, Henry "Sonny" and Linda Parrotte
of Roxbury, Vt.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nine
great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Rita was
predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Vincent; her husband, Henry Parrotte
Sr.; a brother, James Burnell; and a granddaughter, Rita Faye Vincent.
A graveside
funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at 11 a.m.
from St. Ann's Cemetery in Mooers Forks, with the Rev. Gerald Cerank
officiating.
Donations in
Rita's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
Arrangements are
with Brown Funeral Home in Altona.
Pearl B. Munson,
77, of Stetson Road in Chazy, passed away Sept. 2, 2005, at CVPH Medical
Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in
Altona on Dec. 3, 1927, daughter of the late William and Blanche (Clark)
Ladue.
Calling hours will
be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in
Altona.
A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Sacred
Heart Church in Chazy. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
