Anne E. Viens

ROCHESTER — Anne E. Viens passed away on Aug. 20, 2005, in Rochester, N.Y.

She is survived by her son, Carleton Viens of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; her daughter, Muriel (Wilfred) Herzog; grandchildren, Donna (Daniel) Groth and Stephen (Anne) Herzog; and great-grandchildren, Monica and Douglas Herzog.

A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, N.Y. Friends may attend her graveside service on Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rouses Point, N.Y. Masses may be offered in her name.

Arrangements are with the Anthony Funeral Cremation Chapels.

Elsie V. McKee

Plattsburgh — Elsie V. McKee, 66, of the Fox Farm Road, Plattsburgh, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh following a lengthy battle with cirrhosis.

She was born in Keeseville, April 17, 1939, the daughter of Clayton and Violet (Donaldson) McLean.

Elsie was a daycare provider for local children for many years.

She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, canning, caring for children, but her true love was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Lloyd R. McKee Sr. of Plattsburgh, whom she married Sept. 18, 1954, in Morrisonville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin McKee of Peru, Lloyd Jr. and Donna McKee of Peru, Randy and Melissa McKee of North Carolina and Scott McKee of Plattsburgh; one son-in-law, Michael Wade of Plattsburgh; and several grandchildren, great-grand-children, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; an infant son, Daniel McKee; and a daughter, Deborah Jean Wade, July 1, 2004.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A graveside service will be held Friday at noon at the Peasleeville Cemetery with the Rev. Warren "Sam" Biggar, pastor of the Front Street Fellowship Church in Keeseville officiating.

A memorial benefit will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Peru VFW Post 309 to which several local bands are scheduled to play.

Donations in her memory may be made to her family.

ALETTA BRILL, 90, of Jay N.Y., died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was born April 3, 1915, in Hamburg, Germany, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Hirtmann) Moeaaer.

There will be no public calling hours.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Whiteface United Methodist Church in Wilmington, N.Y.

Marion R. Gamelin, 86, of Champlain died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at Cedar Hedge Nursing Home in Rouses Point.

Calling hours will be Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Champlain.
