Marcel B. Bedard
POESTENKILL —
Marcel B. Bedard, 74, of Garfield Road died on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 at
Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a short illness.
Born and raised in
Champlain, N.Y., he was the son of the late Raymond and Roseanna Cayer
Bedard and husband of Bonnie Goodermote Bedard of Poestenkill and the
late Denise Bouchard Bedard.
Marcel had resided
in the Poestenkill area for the past 40 years and had retired earlier
this year from Roxy Cleaners in Albany where he had been a plumber and
maintenance man.
Marcel was a
communicant of St. Judes Church in Wynantskill and a former communicant
of St. Mary's Church in Champlain.
Survivors in
addition to his wife, include his children, Michael (Ann) Bedard of
Averill Park, N.Y., Marcel "Paul" (Margie) Bedard of
Stockbridge, Ga., Maurice (AnnMarie) Bedard of Averill Park, N.Y., Dawn
(Russell) Leitheuser of Galway, N.Y., and George (Jamie) Orton of
Berlin. His siblings, Theresa Thorton of West Chazy, N.Y., Claire Clark
of Champlain, Gabriel Bedard of New Hampshire, James Bedard of Tarpon
Springs, Fla., Real Bedard of Lacolle, Quebec, Canada, Anita Giroux and
Peter Bedard both of Chazy, N.Y. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.
Marcel was the
brother of the late Clement and Gerald Bedard.
Funeral will be
Friday 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Champlain, N.Y., where a Mass
of Christian burial will be offered.
Relatives and
friends are invited and may also call at the M.B. Clark Funeral Home,
196 Elm St., Champlain, N.Y., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Champlain, N.Y.

Ambulance, P.O. Box 14, Poestenkill, NY 12140.
Patricia Mercado
Plattsburgh —
Mrs. Patricia Mercado, 92, formerly of Beekman Towers and the Vilas
Home, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at the Clinton County Nursing
Home.
She was born in
Puerto Rico on Sept. 9, 1912, the daughter of Juan and Leona (San Diego)
Rosiario.
Patricia enjoyed
playing the piano and singing and dancing.
She was
predeceased by her parents, Juan and Leona Rosiario; her husband,
Cristobal Mercado; a daughter, Ruth Mercado; her brothers, Diego and
Gustapo Rosiario; and her sister Molesta Rosiario.
Patricia is
survived by a son, Michael Mercado of Schenectady; and a brother, Miguel
Rosiario of Puerto Rico; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service
will be held Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. from the Brown Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Judith Pratt, pastor of the First Baptist
Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel in Plattsburgh.

KATHLEEN J. CASS,
85, of Vermontville, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at her home.
Born in
Vermontville, N.Y., on Feb. 27, 1920, she was the daughter of Phillip
and Sarah (Paye) Swinyer.
A public graveside
service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Union Cemetery
in Vermontville with Pastor David Drake of the Vermontville Nazarene,
Church, officiating.
WILLIAM A. REDFORD,
80, of Cedar Hedge Nursing Home in Rouses Point, N.Y., formerly of West
Chazy, N.Y., died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005.
He was born Dec.
15, 1925, in Virginia.
There will be no
calling hours.
Graveside services
will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. at the Fairview
Cemetery in AuSable Forks.

ETHEL L. LESTER,
85, formerly of Fournier Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at the
Skilled Nursing Unit of the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in
Ellenburg on March 2, 1920, the daughter of George and Belle (McKinney)
Hoy.
Calling hours are
private and at the convenience of the family.
A graveside
service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Sheldon Hill Cemetery
in Ellenburg Depot.

73, of Riverside Drive, Constable, N.Y., died unexpectedly, Wednesday,
Aug. 10, 2005, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y.
Born in Malone,
July 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Adam and Loretta Yando Tatro.
Calling hours will
be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral
Home in Malone.
A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis
of Assisi Church in Constable, with the Rev. James Lamitie, officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
ELWYN J.
DUPREY, 72, of
the Ridge Road, Chazy, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at the
Cedar Hedge Nursing Home.
He was born in
Chazy, N.Y., on April 14, 1933, the son of Reginald and Helen (Ginett)
Duprey.
Calling hours will
be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. from Sacred
Heart Church in Chazy. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart
Cemetery.
