Richard H. "Dad" Warner

Keeseville — Richard. H. "Dad" Warner, 66, of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at the Fletcher Allen Healthcare Center in Burlington, Vt.

He was born in Hartford, Conn., Nov. 28, 1938, the son of Everett and Marilyn (Rock) Warner.

Richard worked at Klock's Company in Manchester, Conn., for 23 years. He then moved to upstate New York and was employed with Imperial Wall Coverings for 22 years prior to retiring.

He was a member of the Keeseville Elk's Lodge 2072 in Keeseville for several years. He was always on the golf course following retirement and was an avid race fan. Close and dear friends called and considered him "Dad." He was loved by many and will be missed with great affection.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carolyn E. (Brule) Warner, whom he married March 25, 1979, in Manchester, Conn.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debra (Warner) and Dwight Denely of Enfield, Conn., Denise (Warner) and Russ Otten of Blanford, Mass., Kimberly (Nelson) and Michael Lucas of Plattsburgh and Melissa Nelson and Lonnie Barriere; one son, Richard H. Warner Jr. of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Robert Stydorik, Kyle and Cody Otten and Katherine (Dashnaw) Lucas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert P. and Donna A. Warner of Keeseville, James S. and Karen Warner of Cadyville and Arthur G. and Janet Warner of Sanibel Island, Fla.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Patricia McLean and companion Colin Arthur of Keeseville and Lynn C. and Carl Doner of Keeseville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. Members of the Keeseville Elks Lodge will meet for a 3:30 p.m. service. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. Following services, a gathering will be held at the Keeseville Elks Lodge.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad or the Keeseville Fire Department.

Ronald E. Davidson

Cadyville — Ronald E. Davidson, 55, of the Hardscrabble Road, Cadyville, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Plattsburgh, July 19, 1950, the son of Ronald L. and Naomi (Bull) Davidson.

He was a 1970 graduate of Saranac Central School.

Ron was most recently employed at Bombardier in Plattsburgh. Prior to that, he was employed at Imperial Wall Coverings in Plattsburgh for 26 years.

He was member of the Gulf View Hunting Club in Mooers and a former member of the Saranac Volunteer Fire Department.

He enjoyed hunting and baseball and was an avid Yankee fan. His true love however, was his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Davidson of Cadyville, whom he married Sept. 18, 1976; two daughters and one son-in-law, Nicki and Neil Gillespie of Cadyville and Bethany Davidson and her companion Dustin Blair of Saranac; one son, Corey Davidson and his companion Timolyn Lewis of Morrisonville; his parents, Ronald L. and Naomi Davidson of Cadyville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Alan Coryer and Kathy and Jim Facteau, all of Cadyville; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Sandy Davidson of CadyviIle; two grandchildren, Summer and Brooke Gillespie; his mother-in-law, Eleanor Frenyea of Peru; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Cadyville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Steve Biswell, pastor of the Elizabeth Street Wesleyan Church in Plattsburgh, officiating. Burial will follow in the Saranac Independence Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.

Alberta M. Smith

CORINTH, N.Y. — Alberta M. Smith, 76, of Palmer Avenue, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family at her side.

Born on April 1, 1929, in AuSable Forks, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Norma Santo.

She married Thomas J. Smith on Sept. 16, 1947, in AuSable Forks. The couple resided in Corinth for many years and had a beautiful marriage of 57 years.

When she was younger, Mrs. Smith worked at Lanfears Store by the Corinth School on Oak Street. All the kids would call her "Mom" because that was what she was to them.

She was a loving and caring person, always putting family and friends first. She was in poor health for years but never complained.

Mrs. Smith was a devoted communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Corinth and had a strong faith. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for over 50 years and received her 50 year pin from the Court McLaughlin No. 422 of Saratoga Springs.

Besides her parents, one infant son, Joseph; and one brother, Harland Santo, died before her.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, survivors include five children, Jeffrey Smith of Delaware, Susan Groff and her husband Larry of Malta, Christopher Smith and his wife Cathy of Corinth, Daryl Smith and his wife Sandy of Corinth and Diane Petteys and her husband Gene of Lake Luzerne; one sister, Vivian Passino and her husband Francis of Corinth; one sister-in-law, Marie Rock of Keeseville; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at the Densmore Funeral Home Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 409 Palmer Ave., Corinth, with the Rev. Charles Gaffigan, pastor, officiating.

A Rite of Committal will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Corinth.

Following the committal, friends and family are invited to share fellowship at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Heath Street, Corinth.

The family suggests that memorials take the form of donations to the Corinth Emergency Squad, 101 Sherman Ave., Corinth, NY 12822.

Gloria A. Bezio, 67, of the Hallock Hill Road, Peru, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.
