Margaret Ann Brault
Lecanto, Fla.
— Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Ann Brault, 58, of Lecanto, Fla.,
passed away on July 20, 2005, at the Hospice Unit of Citrus Memorial
Hospital under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus
County.
Margaret was
born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Jan. 1, 1947, the daughter of the late
Charles and Katherine "Pat" (Pattno) Goddeau.
She was a
caring and compassionate registered nurse at Palms of Pasadena Hospital
and home health care for many years. She was also an accomplished
equestrian and enjoyed gardening, needlework, quilting and other crafts.
She moved to Lecanto area in 2004, from St. Petersburg, where she had
lived since 1980.
Peggy is
survived by one step-daughter, Kelley Brault of Hernando, Fla.; one
sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Noel Stewart of Peru; one niece,
Katie Carnahan and her husband Ricky of Schuyler Falls; one nephew, Glen
Stewart of Peru; one great-niece, Abigail Carnahan of Schuyler Falls;
her mother-in-law, Florence Brault of Cadyville; three brothers-in-law,
Roland Brault of St. Petersburg, Fla., Bernard Brault and his wife
Connie of Cadyville, Donald Brault and his wife Sally of Bellmawr, N.J.;
a sister-in-law., Deanna Joss and her husband Allan of Arlington, Texas;
her aunt and uncle, Theresa and George Rock of York, Pa. Peggy is also
survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
predeceased by her husband, Raymond Brault.
A Memorial Mass
will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. at St. James
Church in Cadyville. Burial will follow in the family plot of St. James
Cemetery.
In lieu of
flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Citrus
County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL, 34464.
Arrangements
are with the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
David E. Lewis
CHARLOTTE, N.C.
— David E. Lewis, 63, of Charlotte, N.C., and Morrisonville, N.Y.,
died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, July 23, 2005.
He was born in
Plattsburgh on Aug. 21, 1941, the son of Edward and Olive (Bradley)
Lewis.
He graduated
from Peru Central School in 1959 and from Norwich University in 1963.
After graduation from Norwich, he served at the U.S. Naval Security
Agency in Washington, D.C., and then in the U.S. Army as a 1st
Lieutenant in Communications Engineering until his honorable discharge
in July of 1969.
Using the
training and top secret security clearance that he had from the
military, he went on to work for the Hughes Aircraft Company of
California as an electronics engineer working on government defense
projects. David worked in Germany, Italy, Iceland and the United States.
David is
survived by his mother, Olive Lewis of Morrisonville; one sister, Joyce
Conners of Plattsburgh; two aunts, Myrtle Bradley of Morrisonville and
Claudia Bradley of Plattsburgh; four nieces, Sherry Willauer of
Titusville, Fla., Deborah Conners of Plattsburgh, Barbara Pavone and her
husband Mike of Morrisonville and Patricia McKenna of North Carolina;
one nephew, Dana Conners and his wife Michaele of North Carolina; five
grandnieces; four grandnephews; five great-grandnieces; and three
great-grandnephews; and many cousins and good friends, including Artis
Brown of Plattsburgh, whom David thought of as family.
David was
predeceased by his father, Edward D. Lewis; his wife, the former Judith
Ernst of Cape Cod; and three nieces.
Calling hours
will be held on Monday, Aug. 1, from noon to 2 p.m. at the R.W. Walker
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow in the funeral
home chapel with the Rev. Rocker of the Church of the Nazarene
officiating.
Burial will
follow in the Schuyler Falls Cemetery in Schuyler Falls.
Donations can
be made to the Schuyler Falls Cemetery Association, c/o Henry Jarvis or
the Salvation Army in Memory of David Lewis.
Lucille S.
Ammenheuser
ROCHESTER —
Lucille S. Ammenheuser passed away peacefully on July 29, 2005, at age
71.
She is
predeceased by her husband, Herbert. She is survived by her children,
Robert of Oxford, Mass., Howard (Tammy) Ammenheuser of Bristol, N.Y. and
Gwen Ammenheuser; a granddaughter, Rachel; a sister, Myrtice (Daniel)
Holmes; a brother Howard (Sue) Smith; several nieces, nephews and many
dear friends.
Family and
friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. 3325 Winton
Road South in Rochester on Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Lucille’s
funeral service will be celebrated in the Rush United Methodist Church
at 6200 Rush-Lima Road, Rush, N.Y., on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at 7 p.m.
A graveside
service will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the
Lakeview Cemetery, Williamboro, N.Y.
In lieu of
flowers, friends may contribute to the Willsboro Methodist Church in her
memory.
