Franklin E. Wells
Lewis — Franklin
E. Wells, 80, of Wells Hill Road, passed away at his home on July 27,
2005.
He was born Nov.
22, 1924. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. He was a
prisoner of war at Zittau, Poland.
He was employed by
the Lane Construction Corp. of Meriden, Conn., and NYSD0T.
He is survived by
his wife of 58 years, Mae; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Andy
VanEtten of The Villages, Fla., daughter and son-in-law Sheila and Ed
Jennings of Elizabethtown, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law Neil and Denise
Wells of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren Thomas and Joanne VanEtten,
Andrea and Randy Jacobs, Eric Gough and Kyle Wells; great-grandchildren
T.J., Alexis, Shawna and Andy VanEtten and Cody Jacobs; one brother and
sister-in-law, Kenneth and Phyllis Wells of Horseheads, N.Y.
He was predeceased
by his parents, Frank and Clara Wells; and two sisters and two brothers.
Donations may be
made to the Elizabethtown-Lewis Emergency Squad or Lewis Fire Company.
Calling hours will
be at Marvin's Funeral Home, Elizabethtown, on July 30, 2005, from 2 to
4 and 7 to 8 p.m., with a memorial service at 8 p.m. Signed, John Deere.
Anna Campbell-Boyse
Lacolle, Quebec
— Anna Campbell-Boyse, 93, wife of the late Sherwood Boyse, mother of
Robert, Norma, Winona, Brian (Paula); two grandchildren, Stacy (Jeff)
and Shawn (Carla); and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be
at Oddelltown Church, Lacolle, Quebec, at 1 p.m. on July 30, prior to
the service at 2 p.m.
Terry
R. VanValkenburg Sr.,
52, of Standish Street, Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at
the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in
AuSable Forks, N.Y., on Jan. 24, 1953, the son of Herman and Inez
(Nelson) VanValkenburg.
A Memorial Mass
will be held Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at a time to be announced from Our
Lady of Victory Church, with the Rev. Floyd "Jerry" Bleaux,
pastor, as celebrant.
Arrangements are
by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
Anna
Holland, 63, of
Margaret Street, Plattsburgh, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at her home.
She was born in
Plant City, Fla., on Jan. 10, 1942, the daughter of Emanuel and Hazel
(Woodard) Mobley.
Following
cremation, memorial services will be held in Philadelphia, Pa., at the
convenience of the family.

Marie
C. Mousseau, 87,
of Plattsburgh, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center
in Plattsburgh.
Arrangements were
incomplete Thursday evening at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in
Plattsburgh.
Sarah
C. McGibbon, 91,
of Crown Point, N.Y., died Monday July 25, 2005, at The Hospice In
Patient Center, San Antonio, Texas.
She was born in
Weavertown, N.Y., on Sept. 23, 1913, the daughter of Thomas and Chloe
(Sawyer) Johnson.
Calling hours will
be Friday July 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home, Port
Henry. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 30, at 11
a.m. at the Ironville Cemetery, Crown Point, N.Y.
Aaron
W. Crowningshield,
37, died June 26, 2005.
He was born in
Elizabethtown, N.Y., on Nov. 2, 1967, the son of Sheridan and Hope (Podmore)
Crowningshield.
A graveside
service will held Thursday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. at Deerhead Cemetery in
Lewis.

with the W.M. Marvins Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.
