Jamie M. Billings
Mooers Forks —
Jamie M. Billings, 32, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, as the result of a
boating accident.
She was born in
Plattsburgh on Nov. 18, 1972, the daughter of Dominic and Mary
"Sue" (Rabideau) Lepone.
She graduated from
Northeastern Clinton Central School and was employed at Northern
Adirondack Central School for several years. She enjoyed crafts,
spending time with her family and friends and had a great sense of
humor.
She is survived by
her husband, Todd Billings; her son, Caleb; her parents, David and Sue
Jodoin of Mooers and Dominic Lepone of Yonkers; her maternal
grandmother, Thelma Rabideau of Mooers Forks; her siblings and their
spouses, Toni and Mark LaValley of Peru, Marc and Holly Lepone of
Plattsburgh, Michael and Michelle Lepone of Champlain; and several
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will
be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral services
will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, from the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in
Mooers.
Memorial donations
may be made to Hospice of the North Country.

Manning
Keeseville —
Theresa S. Manning, 79, of Hill Street, Keeseville, died Wednesday, June
29, 2005, at her home.
She was born in
AuSable Forks, May 21, 1926, the daughter of Nelson L. and Mabel (LaMountain)
Blaise.
Theresa was a
member of the Peru Veterans of Foreign War Post 309 ladies auxiliary.
She enjoyed crafts, tag sales, and instant lottery tickets. She was a
loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew
her.
Survivors include
three sons and two daughters-in-law, Roger Manning Sr. and fiancé
Patricia Smith of Keeseville, Nelson and Louise Manning of Titusville,
Fla., and Timothy and Becky Manning of Middleburgh, Fla.; one daughter
and son-in-law, Bonnie and Michael McDonough of Morrisonville; two
sisters, Joan Doyle and Jane Fountain both of Keeseville; 13
grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was
predeceased by her parents; her husband, Roger James Manning; two
brothers, Lawrence and Sherman Blaise; and three sisters, Margaret
Blaise, Leona Mousseau and Isabelle Fountain.
A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2005, at 10 a.m.
at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant,
pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Donations in her
memory may be made to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh.

by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.

Ellenburg Depot
— Hilda D. VanValkenburg, 74, of the Plank Road, Ellenburg Depot, died
Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth Rivers
in Ellenburg Depot.
She was born in
Clintonville, July 6, 1930, the daughter of Nelson and Mary (Mumbrow)
Blair.
She enjoyed bingo,
quilting and rummage sales, but her true love was spending time with her
family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed
dearly.
She is survived by
her 10 children; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was
predeceased by her parents; a son, James VanValkenburg, June 14, 1987;
one brother and two sisters.
Calling hours will
be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in
Keeseville.
A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St. John's
Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, pastor,
celebrating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Keeseville.
