Helen K. Burrows

Crown Point — Helen K. Burrows, 93, of Crown Point, passed away Monday, June 13, 2005, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga. She has resided with her daughter Barbara since December 2003.

Born in Ticonderoga, Oct. 6, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Delia (Wood) Keast.

Mrs. Burrows was a lifelong resident of Crown Point and a member of the Crown Point Order of the Eastern Star, of which she was a past matron.

She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Burrows Jr. on Feb. 26, 1992.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara French and her husband Fred of Crown Point and Beverly Tesar and her husband Milton of Crown Point; one sister, Mildred Spinosa of Albany; and six grandchildren, Lisa Marie Lombardi and her husband Frank of Metamora, Ill., Becki Marie French and her friend Raymond Smith of Boston, Mass., Beth Kroll of Cooper City, Fla., Brett Thompson of Moriah, Brian Thompson of California and Bradley Thompson of Moriah. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin Street, Ticonderoga. The Rev. Lauren P. Maxson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ticonderoga, will officiate.

Interment will follow at the family plot of the Forest Dale Cemetery of Crown Point.

Fay Ida Brown

PLATTSBURGH — Fay Ida Brown, 81, of Plattsburgh passed away Saturday, June 11, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Champlain, the daughter of the late Noah and Myra Glode.

She enjoyed arts and crafts and helping people in need. She enjoyed weekend outings with her daughter and visits from her son.

Her parents; her husband, Anthony J. Brown; four brothers, Stanley, Floyd, Norman and Edward; and two sisters, Pearl and Evelyn, predeceased her.

She is survived by one son, Anthony N. Brown and his wife Gloria of Severn, Md.; one daughter, Linda Vassar and her husband John of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren, Laura, Cammy, Paul, Stacy, Shawn and Joel; 10 great-grandchildren, Nick, Ben, Katlyn, Chelsea, Sophie, Tayler, Candice, Justin, Kylie and Alanna; and one great-great-grandchild, Kayla.

There will be no public calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain.

Arrangements are with the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain.

Frank X. Noel

Ellenburg Depot — Frank Xavier Noel, 45, of Ellenburg Depot, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2005.

Frank was born in Plattsburgh on March 29, 1960, to Jean (Baker) Noel and Robert Noel.

Mr. Noel graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 1978. He attended SUNY Morrisville graduating in 1980. He then attended SUNY Canton graduating in 1982.

After graduating from college, Frank lived in Colorado for several years where he was employed as an auto technician. Frank had a love of music and enjoyed writing music and playing the guitar.

He was the beloved son of Jean Noel of Ellenburg Depot; brother to Marie Wilson of Detroit, Mich., Susan Noel Coakley and Sanford of Plattsburgh and Nancy Noel of Palm Desert, Calif. Mr. Noel is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father; and his brother, Robert Noel Jr.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held from St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh at the convenience of the family.

The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot is in charge of arrangements.

Blanche M. Reynolds, 90, of Scott Drive, Malone, N.Y., died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at her home, while under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country, Inc.

She was born in Malone, Nov. 9, 1914, the daughter of the late George and Nida Charette Stone.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. of Malone.
