Elizabeth C. Boadway

Malone — Elizabeth C. Boadway, 86, formerly of Churubusco, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Franklin County Nursing Home, Malone, N.Y., where she had been a patient since June 29, 1998.

Born in Constable, N.Y., on May 22, 1919, she was the daughter of Charles and Ida (Spinner) Rousell.

She was married to Oliver Boadway on June 10, 1937. He predeceased her in April 1979.

Mrs. Boadway is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and David Martin of Chateaugay, Veronica and Ed Tavernia of Churubusco, Betty and Lyle LaBombard of Chateaugay, Mary Anne and Joseph Ashfield of Chateaugay and Margie and Donald Decosse of Chateaugay; a son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Theresa Boadway of Chateaugay; 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Jack Blair of Malone; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Phyllis Rousell of Westville, Lawrence and Rita Rousell of Constable and Kenneth and Gert Rousell of Malone; two sisters-in-law, Addie McElwain of Malone and Georgette Rousell of Malone; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Spinner of Malone.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; a son, Joseph Boadway; a brother, Francis "Pete" Rousell; three sisters, Kathleen Yaddow, Agnes Avery and Florence Tavernia; and a great-grandson, Ryan Decosse.

Mrs. Boadway was a leader in 4-H clubs for many years. She was also a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Churubusco.

Calling hours will be held at Chateaugay Funeral Home on Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon on Monday, June 6, in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Churubusco, with Rev. Howard McCasland officiating.

Burial will take place at Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Churubusco.

Priscilla M. Gilmore, 74, of Bushey Boulevard., Plattsburgh, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Dixmont, Maine, on March 24, 1931, the daughter of Harold and Marion (Stevens) Palmer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday from the Hampden Funeral Home in Hampden, Maine. Burial will be in Pilgrim Cemetery in Monroe, Maine.

The O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh is in charge of local arrangements.

Margaret D. MacDonald of Moriah, N.Y., died Friday, June 3, 2005, at Porter Hospital, Middlebury, Vt.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 5, at the Harland Funeral Home, Port Henry. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry. A full obituary will be in the Sunday Press-Republican.

Gertrude M. (Secrest) Huyck, 89, of Saranac Lake, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid.

She was born Aug. 21, 1915, in Deposit, N.Y.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Deposit.
