Ronnie R. Begnouche

Moriah — Ronnie R. Begnouche, 55, of 201 Edgemont Rd., Moriah, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital, Ticonderoga.

He was born Aug. 25, 1949, at Ticonderoga, the son of Raymond and Evelyn (De Zalia) Begnouche.

A life long resident of Moriah, he was employed at Essex Industries.

He is survived by two aunts, Charlotte Canden of Albany and Sophia Young of Crown Point; several cousins; friends and neighbors.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 4th, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Port Henry, with Monsignor John McAvoy officiating. Burial will be in the Moriah Union Cemetery, Moriah, N.Y.

Memorial donations in Ronnie's memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Harland Funeral Home of Port Henry is in charge of arrangements.

Richard Joseph "Dick" Cayea

Champlain — Richard Joseph "Dick" Cayea, 77 of Champlain, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born May 7, 1927, in Lyon Mountain, the son of Wilbur and Elmira (Ebere) Cayea.

He served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed playing bingo and fishing. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Rouses Point.

His parents and two sisters, Kay Porier and Carolyn Fox, predecease Richard.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian (Doner) Cayea; five daughters, Jane Mayo and her husband Reginald of Rouses Point, Judy Bombardier and Rick of Mooers, Loretta Gonyo of Rouses Point, Mikey Pickering and David of Champlain and Linda Long and Richard of Dover, N.H.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Sue Cayea of Rouses Point and Kevin and Lauria Cayea of Champlain; two brothers, Jim Cayea and his companion Annette Devan and Mike Cayea; two sisters, Rose Coupal and Veronica and Rene Langlois; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, May 2nd, at St. Mary's Church in Champlain at noon. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Champlain. Friends and family are welcome to meet at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Champlain following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Champlain Fire Department or the American Diabetes Association.

Arrangements are with the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain.

Hector "June" Soto Jr., 33, of McGauley Avenue, Plattsburgh, died April 19, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh.

He was born in New York City on June 2, 1971, the son of the late Hector Luis Soto Sr. and Margarita (Moro) Soto.

A funeral Mass was held in Bronx, N.Y., with burial in Riverside Cemetery on Staten Island, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse, 1686 Rt. 22B, Morrisonville.

Helen T. Delahant, 85, of 139 Main St., Saranac Lake, N.Y., died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

She was born in Wood-Ridge, N.J., on Dec. 10, 1919, the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Harvey) Trouve.

Calling hours will be held at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Luke the Beloved Physician, with Rev. Fredrick Dennis officiaing. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
