Published: 4/25/05Evelyn Natalie CooleyWILLSBORO — Evelyn Natalie Cooley, 67, of Mountain View Drive, Willsboro, died April 23, 2005, at her home after a long illness. She was born in Westport on April 9, 1938, the second daughter of Rolland and Beulah (Scott) DeGroff. She married William Cooley in the Boquet Chapel on July 2, 1955. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years; a son and his wife, Steve and Cora Cooley of Keeseville; a daughter and her husband, Wendy and Carmen Cross of Lewis; grandchildren Conor, Logan and Tia Cooley, Danielle and Jamie Conklin and Joel Cross, and sisters and their husbands Barbara and Clayton McDougal of Ticonderoga and Carol and Reggie McClear of Hammond, N.Y. She was predeceased by one grandson, Reegan Cooley. Calling hours will be held at the Huestis Funeral Home in Willsboro from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the New Burt Cemetery in Whallonsburgh. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Willsboro Rescue Squad. |
