Josephine F. (Lincoln) Lanciault

Elizabethtown — Josephine F. (Lincoln) Lanciault, 80, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at her home on Water Street in Elizabethtown. She was born on March 26, 1925, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of George and Mary (Clark) Lincoln.

Josie worked for many years as a waitress and bartender and also as a caregiver for the elderly in their homes. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful blankets and afghans, which she loved to give to people.

She is survived by her companion of 49 years, Leo. J. Fleury of Elizabethtown, N.Y.; one daughter and companion Margaret A. "Maggie" Trombly and Michael J. Mitchell of Lewis, N.Y.; two beloved grandchildren, Staff Sergeant Christopher A. Trombly of Travis AFB, Calif., and Amber M. Mitchell of Lewis, N.Y.; a half sister, Delicagh Lincoln; a very special niece, Rosemary O'Loughlin of West Boylston, Mass.; two sisters-in-law, Laura Wojewodzic and family of Port Henry, N.Y., and Bennette Barnes and family of Ticonderoga, N.Y.

Josie’s parents; her husband, Albert L. Lanciault; two sisters, Mabel Morrison and Lillian Wolaski; a brother, George Lincoln; and a brother-in-law, Woody Fleury, died earlier.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 20th, at 5 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Elizabethtown. A reception will be held at the United Church of Christ parish hall following the service. Any food donations may be brought to the parish hall.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Elizabethtown-Lewis Ambulance Squad.

Dale A. Monica, 54, of 94 Montgomery Rd., Burke, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.

He was born Feb. 17, 1951, in Malone, the son of the late Anson and Joyce (Rafter) Monica.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary-Murphy chapel with Rev. John Werley officiating. Burial will take plae in N. Bangor Protestant Cemetery.
