Shirley Ann Ralph

Inalis, FLA. — Shirley Ann Ralph, 68, of Moonlight Terrace, Inalis, Fla., and formerly of Plattsburgh, died Sunday, April 10, 2005, at the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

She was born Sep. 9, 1936, in Plattsburgh to Leander and Viola (Darrah) St.Louis, where she lived for many years before relocating to Largo, Fla.

She worked for many years for various companies, the last being Dixie Drilling Company in Clearwater, Fla., before retiring in 1996. She then relocated to Inglis, Fla. She enjoyed caring for her family and collecting antiques.

Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, Wayne Ralph of Inglis, Fla.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Connie Webber of Morrisonville, Jeff and Marilyn Webber of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Steven and Polly Webber of Largo, Fla.; one stepson, Michael Ralph and his wife Laurie of West Chazy; two stepdaughters, Jody Myers of Hawaii and Gail Ralph of Inglis; two brothers and sister-in-law, Stanley and Shirley St.Louis of Plattsburgh and Sidney St.Louis of Morrisonville; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Strickland Funeral Home of Crystal River is in charge of the arrangements. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2005, in Crystal River.

In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to a favorite charity in Shirley’s name would be greatly appreciated.

Joseph John Gurley

Port Henry — Joseph John Gurley Jr., 50, of Port Henry, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Center of Burlington, Vt.

Born in Boston, Mass., Oct. 28, 1954, he was the son of the late Joseph Gurley Sr. and Margaret (LeRoy) Gurley.

Mr. Gurley moved to Port Henry from Boston in 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was predeceased by one brother, Earl Gurley Sr.; and one sister, Dianne Gurley.

Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Gurley of Whitehall, Edward Gurley of Ticonderoga and Ronald Gurley of Boston, Mass.; and two sisters, Edna Shultz and Barbara Kenney, both of Ticonderoga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.

Michael Harris, 43, of Lyon Mountain, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at his residence.

Arrangements were incomplete Wednesday, evening at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot.

Harold N. Forett, 77, of Dragoon Road in Altona, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Harold was born in Ellenburg on July 11, 1927, son of the late William and Agnes Forett.

Calling hours will be Friday April 15, 2005, from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon from St. Louis de France Church in Sciota. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
