Kim, Yong HuiFrankfurt, Germany — Kim, Yong Hui, was born on Jan. 25, 1958, to Kim, Sang Ho and Sol, Mal Chom, in Taegu, South Korea. She was the fourth child, as she grew up with her two older sisters, Kim, Hae Oak and Kim, Yong Oak, one older brother, Kim, Yong Koo, and one younger brother, Kim, Yong Hoon. On Aug. 12, 1977, Yong Hui fell in love with and married Roger Brian "Butchie" Sorrell, formerly of Chateaugay, N.Y., in Seoul, South Korea. He offered her a world of opportunity as he was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. From Korea, Yong Hui and "Butchie" moved to the Philippines, California, Montana, Okinawa, Guam, Holland, Italy and Germany, while leisurely traveling to many other destinations. She lived a very active life, as she loved to travel, work, cook and participate in various arts and crafts. She was also a very faithful woman, as she regularly read the Bible, sung the hymns and attended Bible studies. In her life, she had two daughters, Hyeon Jin, 26 and Amanda Victoria, 19. She lived to raise them from childhood, to witness them graduate high school and marry her two sons-in-law, Abraham Morales, 24 and Jacob Membreno, 21. Most importantly, she witnessed the birth of her first grandson, Andrew-Elijah Emmanuel Sorrell, 2. With an open heart, she took Andrew in and raised him since he was an infant. She loved Andrew from the moment he was born and he will keep her in his heart forever. As we all mourn over her death, in reality we are all deeply relieved that her pain and suffering was put to an end. Although her life was taken at such a young age, she informed all of us many times that she had lived a very full life and she was very satisfied. She was the most generous and compassionate woman, always insuring that all of her loved ones were taken care of. She will forever live on in all of our hearts, cherished and loved, and the memory of her beautiful smile will never fade...
