Margaret J. Archambault

KEESEVILLE — Margaret J. Archambault, 94, of Soper Road, Keeseville died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Paterson, N.J., April 7, 1910, the daughter of Francesco and Angelina (Goia) Savastano.

She was a resident of Keeseville since 1957 and a communicant of St. John's Church in Keeseville.

Margaret enjoyed collecting Christmas decorations and angels.

Survivors include her children, John F. Spence of Keeseville and Maureen Spence Lattrelle of Plattsburgh; grandchildren and spouses, Cheryl and Robert Clairmont of Burlington, Vt., James and Debbie Lattrelle of Beekmantown, Robert and Verity Lattrelle of Burlington, Vt., and Bryan and Kristine Spence of Clermont, Fla.; three great- grandchildren, Margaret Clairmont of Burlington, Vt., and Joshua and Sarah Lattrelle of Beekmantown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; a son, James T. Spence, Oct. 31, 1997; three brothers, Thomas, Michael and Fred; and a sister, Mary.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Keeseville with Rev. William Reamer, chaplain at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, celebrating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Senior Citizens Council of Clinton County Building Fund, 23 Elm Street, Suite 200, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.

Janice Williams, 37, of Pleasant Street, Peru, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center with her friends at her side.

She was born in New York City on May 23, 1967, the daughter of Janie Mae Williams.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, A funeral service will follow at 11 a. m. with the Rev. William Reamer, chaplain at CVPH Medical Center officiating. Internment will be at a later date in Ingraham Cemetery.

Dorothy MacKay, 92, formally a resident of Greenwood Street, Lake Placid, died at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid where she had been a resident since February of 2003.

She was born in Clintonville, N.Y., Jan. 31, 1912, the daughter of Frank and Mamie (Cobb) Beattie.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia Ann Lee, 74, of Greenwood Street, Lake Placid, N.Y., died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

She was born in Lake Placid, Jan. 31, 1930, the daughter of Joseph C. and Aileen (Buck) Lee.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at North Elba Cemetery in May.

The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.

Frances B. Seaman, 86, of Long Lake, died Jan. 24, 2005, at her home following a year-and-a-half battle with cancer.

She was born June 18, 1918, the daughter of the late John F. and Martha (Slack) Boone.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Henry’s Parish Center at Long Lake. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, Long Lake. Burial will follow at the family plot at the Long Lake Cemetery.

FRANCES HERSHMAN, 86, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at the home of her daughter’s family in Potsdam, N.Y.

She was born July 20, 1918, in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Henry Richard and Chivolette (O’Neil) Jameson.

Calling hours will be at the Richer Funeral Home on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held at Beth Joseph Cemetery to be announce in the spring.
