Stephanie A. Maglienti

Morrisonville — Stephanie A. Maglienti, 91, of Blueberry Hill Road, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Charleroi, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1913, daughter of Stephen and Anna (Benak) Kondrc.

Stephanie came to live in Plattsburgh in 1990 from Ramsey, N.J., where she was a waitress for many years. She was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Her life was centered on her home and family.

Stephanie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Rosemary Maglienti of Morrisonville; four grandchildren, Donald Maglienti and his wife Leanna of Middlebury, Vt., Brian Maglienti and his wife Jennifer of Saratoga Springs, Mark Maglienti of New York City and Alison Maglienti of Morrisonville; two great-grandchildren, Mira and Camille; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; and a special friend, Jennifer Waldorf.

Stephanie was predeceased by her husband, Daniel; one brother; and four sisters.

Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 10 a.m. from St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Adirondack Humane Society.

Margaret Dorothy Pedro

Willsboro — Margaret Dorothy Pedro, 74, died at CVPH Medical Center Dec. 22, 2004, after a long illness.

Margaret was born in Keeseville on Feb. 10, 1930, the daughter of William and Louise (LaFrance) Bezio.

She was a member of St. Philip's Church in Willsboro and for many years worked as a housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs. Peter Paine Sr.

Mrs. Pedro is survived by her husband, John (Jackie) Pedro. They celebrated 56 years of marriage Dec. 18, 2004. She is also survived by a son, John of Willsboro; a daughter, Linda Kennedy of New Paltz; two grandchildren, Lisa Pedro of Saranac Lake and John Coonrod of New Paltz; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Philip's Church, Willsboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the Willsboro-Reber Rescue Squad. Huestis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry A. Hayes

Plattsburgh — Jerry A. Hayes, 38, of Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 16, 1966, the son of Malcolm W. and Genevieve (Corrow) Hayes.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed as a truck driver at Northeastern Rigging in Plattsburgh for many years.

Jerry was an outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling and was also an avid fan of music.

He is survived by his mother, Genevieve Hayes of Morrisonville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William J. and Susan Hayes of Watertown, Terry J. and Linda Hayes of Plattsburgh and Lynn M. and Kristin Hayes of Land O Lake, Fla.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Starr A. and Dennis Baker of Morrisonville and Michelle and John Hetfield of Port Kent; his fiancée, Sheila Kirby of Plattsburgh; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon and Brett Hayes, Jennifer and Jamie Hayes, Caliegh Hayes, Brittney and Jared Baker, Joshua Jerome, Edwin and Olivia Hetfield.

His father, Malcolm W. Hayes, died in 1980.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday from St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.

Joseph Berman, 66, of Star Way Drive, Port Henry, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at his home.

He was born Dec. 10, 1938, in the Bronx, N.Y., the son of Charles and Charlotte (Shapiro) Berman.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. Funeral services will be conducted in the spring at the Union Cemetery in Moriah.

James Burgey, 83, of Miller Drive, Crown Point, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at his home.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Crown Point Methodist Church.
