Martel, of Cobleskill, N.Y., formerly of Port Henry, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home in Ticonderoga, N.Y. She was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Moriah, N.Y., the daughter of George and Golda (Smith) Jacobs. She was a graduate of Port Henry High School. Deanna is survived by her husband, Roger Martel; her mother, Golda Jacobs; her children, David Martel and Katherine Martel; her grandchildren, Mathew and Jessica Horn; and her siblings, James, Curtis, Bette, Michael, Roxanne and Robin. She was predeceased by her father, George Jacobs; and her brother, George (Sonny) Jacobs Jr. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry. Burial will be in the South Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Peter S. Massaro, 71, of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Portsmouth, N.H., Oct. 26, 1933, the son of Peter and Ella (Smith) Massaro. There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Keeseville, with Rev. William Reamer, chaplain at the CVPH Medical Center, celebrating. Burial will be held at a later date in New Hampshire. A complete obituary will be in a later edition of the Press-Republican. Arrangements are by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. Ann G. Cooke, 44, of Waimanalo, Hawaii, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Albany, Ga., Oct. 8, 1960. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. Robert E. King, 66, of Constable, N.Y., died Dec. 18, 2004, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center. He was born Oct. 12, 1938, in Malone, the son of Wallace and Lydia (Perry) King. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Church. Spring burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery. |
