Published: 11/26/04MARIE E. BENEDICT WALSH, 80, of Walsh Lane, Averill Park, N.Y. died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy after a long illness. Born in Crown Point, she was the daughter of the late Noble Benedict and Helen (Bennett) Benedict, and wife of late Rensselaer County Legislator William C. Walsh. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Bryce Funeral Home, 276 Pawling Ave., Troy with the Rev. David Martin, pastor of Hope United Methodist Church, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be Fairview Cemetery in Crown Point at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. All are invited. EMILE "BUD" PION, 69, of Rosbo Lane, Morrisonville died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Brown Funeral home in Plattsburgh. MARY DOUGALL WRIGHT, 91, of Port Henry died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at the Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown. She was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Ticonderoga, the daughter of Michael and Della (Bearchook) Dougall. There will be no calling hours or funeral service at this time. Harland Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. ARMAND J. YANDO, 61, of 691 County Route 24, Malone, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Alice Hyde Medical Center. Born Oct. 9, 1943, in Malone, he was the son of Bert H. and Stella Arquette Yando. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Notre Dame Church. Funeral arrangements are through the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home chapel. STEVEN D. COURSON, 57, of the Franklin County Nursing Home died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at the nursing home. Born Sept. 27, 1947, in Malone, he was the son of Delbert and Bernice Revette Courson. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday in Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are through the St. Mary-Murphy Funeral Home. |
