Eleanor Charbonneau Spring

TICONDEROGA — Eleanor Charbonneau Spring, 84, of Crown Heights, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga.

Born in AuSable Forks, March 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Cain) Charbonneau.

Mrs. Spring has been a resident of Ticonderoga since 1951. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga and the First United Methodist Church Women.

She was involved in her husband’s business, Spring Oil Co. of Ticonderoga as a receptionist until their retirement.

Mrs. Spring was a Lady Shriner (LOASA) and she also served as Cub Scout Den Mother for many years.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Kelley, Viola Gorman, Frances Oree and Martha Falcon.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Fayette O. Spring, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1939; three daughters, Barbara S. Cole and her husband LeRoy of Staatsburg, N.Y., Linda S. Brown and her husband Michael of Ticonderoga, Faylene S. Whalen and her husband Terrence of Pittsfield, Mass.; and one son, Thomas F. Spring of Guilderland, N.Y. She is the loving grandmother of five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.

A funeral service will take place Monday, 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Prudence Bertolino, pastor, will officiate.

Interment will follow at the family plot of the Valley View Cemetery of Ticonderoga.

Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, Wicker Street, Ticonderoga, NY 12883.

Thelma F. Rivers

Beekmantown — Thelma F. Rivers, 74, of Spellman Road, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at her home.

She was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 11, 1930, daughter of John and Bernice (Carter) Thew.

Thelma enjoyed bingo.

Thelma is survived by her husband, Robert J. Rivers of Beekmantown; 14 children, Florence and Jimmy Goddeau, Donna and Jack Boland, Ralph Dapo and Rosie Covell, Betty Bell, John Dapo, Archie and Linda Dapo, Bernice and Charles Miller, Albert and Rene Dapo, Danny and Cheri Dapo, Georgie and Shannon Dapo, Becky and Neil Prim, Nanette and Charles Daniels, Thelma Berger and David Dapo; her best friend, Tracey Perham; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Dick Thew, John Thew, David Thew, Joan Thew and Barbara Thew; several nieces and nephews; and her two loyal dogs, Lady and Jasmine.

Calling hours will be on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, from 9 a.m. to noon at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 1, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to the FitzPatrick Cancer Center at CVPH Medical Center.

Genevieve A. Heywood

Redford — Genevieve A. Heywood, 96, of Redford, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Saranac on Sept. 18, 1908, the daughter of Joseph and Cecilia (Seney) Sidney.

She was a member of the Church of the Assumption and loved to cook, crochet and be with her family.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Martin Heywood of Saranac, Roderick and Genevieve Heywood of Ellenburg Depot and Cletus and Audrey Heywood of Plattsburgh; an aunt, Florence Hackett of Saranac; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Theodore Heywood, died in 1971. A brother, Clement Sidney and her sisters, Loretta, Yvonne and Beatrice, also died earlier.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O'Neill - Redden - Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday from the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Michael J. Imhoff, 54, of the Felton Road, Schuyler Falls, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Fletcher Allen Healthcare Center in Burlington, Vt.

He was born in Dannemora, Sept. 26, 1950, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Imhoff.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the West Chazy Rural Cemetery in West Chazy with Rev. William Reamer, chaplain of the CVPH Medical Center, officiating.

Jeramie Lee Davison, 22, of Mooers Forks, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Arrangements were incomplete Friday evening at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers.
