Beaubriand — A memorial Mass for Ruth Beaubriand of Port Henry, N.Y., who died on May 7, 2004, at Moses Ludington in Ticonderoga will be offered in her memory on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry at 11:00 a.m.

Ovensen — A memorial service celebrating the life of Margaret Ovensen who passed away on Jan. 22, 2004, in Fredericksburg, Va., will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone Alliance Church, Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga. Pastor John Clarke of the Moriah Baptist Chapel will officiate.

Florist M. LaBarge, 90, of the Constable Street Road, Malone, N.Y., died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at the Franklin County Nursing Home in Malone. She had been a resident there since May 16, 2002.

Born in Westville, N.Y., on Jan. 18, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine McMahon Dumas.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Notre Dame Church in Malone. Burial will be in St. John Bosco Cemetery in Malone.

Carol A. Vassar, of Northway Court, Plattsburgh, N.Y., died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at her home.

She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of Ashley and Dora (Comstock) Hewitt.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the home of her son, Reginald Vassar, 142 Harvey Road, West Chazy, N.Y., at 11:30 a.m. with Father Joseph Elliott, pastor of St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville, officiating.

Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
