PARADOX — Anna B. Sage, age 90 of 410 Letsonville Road, passed away early Friday afternoon, June 4, 2004, at the Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga.

Mrs. Sage was born May 25, 1914, in Yonkers, N.Y., the daughter of Karl and Marie VonKomolander Brenthel.

Mrs. Sage was predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Sage, in 1978; her daughter, Barbara A. Horton in 1989; her brothers Charles Brenthel in 1978 and Frank Brenthel in 1982; and her sisters, Marie Brenthel in 1995 and Louise Theyson in 2000.

Mrs. Sage resided at her home in Paradox for over 60 years. She was a housewife, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her flowers and her garden.

Survivors include her sons, Donald C. Sage of Paradox and Richard W. Sage of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her daughter Patricia Hammond of Paradox; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 9, 2004 at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 US Route 9, Schroon Lake. Interment will follow in the Severance Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Schroon Lake Emergency Squad, Schroon Lake, NY 12870.

ROBERT C. NOREAULT, 60, of 8 County Route 40, Massena, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at his home.

Born in Malone on April 8, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Eunice (Tavernier) Noreault.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone.

THEODORE L. HILLMAN, 93, of Lake Colby Drive, Saranac Lake, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born in Keene Valley on July 31, 1910, he was the son of Frank and Sarah (McManus) Hillman.

Visitation will be held at Fortune-Keough Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tonight. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
