Niyonu Irene Kahn

Farmington, Conn. — Miss Niyonu Irene Kahn, 31, of Avon, Conn., and formerly of Plattsburgh, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, after a lifelong challenge of living with cystic fibrosis. Niyonu was born on March 4, 1973, daughter of Kay Branagan and MaryEllen Casselman-Branagan and Allyn Kahn.

Niyonu was a committed Girl Scout, earning a Gold Award and working several years as a camp counselor at Lake Clear. She attended Plattsburgh State University, majoring in Africana studies.
