Published: 5/7/04Aniello F. "Frank" NapolitanoMorrisonville — Aniello F. "Frank" Napolitano, 64, of Sand Road, Morrisonville, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 4, 1939, the son of Jerry and Marion (Spanner) Napolitano. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1979, when he retired. He retired from the New York State Department of Corrections in 1999 at Clinton Correctional Facility. Frank was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 309, the American Legion Post 20, the Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed woodworking, playing bingo, camping and fishing. Frank was a member of St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Aniello; and a niece, JoAnn Jackson. He is survived by a son, Mike Napolitano and his wife Joy of Cibolo, Texas; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn; a sister, Josephine Crowe and her husband Ed of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will beheld Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Alexander’s Cemetery. William "Bill" TreadwayTiconderoga — William "Bill" Treadway, 83, of Chilson, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2004, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home of Ticonderoga. He was born in Ticonderoga on Aug. 4, 1920, the son of the late Willard and Clara (Stowell) Treadway. Bill was a lifelong resident of Chilson. He formerly operated Frank Stowell’s Grocery Store in Chilson. He was also employed in construction for many years. As a teenager, Bill performed in a rodeo in Madison Square Garden as a rope twirler. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was predeceased by a nephew, Charles Treadway. Survivors include one sister, Marjorie (Effadean) Frazier and one brother, James Treadway, both of Chilson; two nephews, James Frazier of Chilson and Bill Frazier of Ticonderoga; and four nieces, Clair Barlett of Ticonderoga, Debbie Spicer of Rutland, Vt., and Judy Donovan and Kimberly Olcott, both of Chilson. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place at the family plot of the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Ticonderoga at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga. Rona J. KingdollarLewis — Rona J. Kingdollar, 74, of Fox Run Road in Lewis, died Thursday, May 6, 2004. She was born in Lewis on June 6, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Cora (Cross) Kingdollar. Rona worked for many years at the Essex County Nursing Home in Whallonsburg and later at the Horace Nye Home in Elizabethtown as a nurse’s aide. She is survived by her companion, Tommy Brown and her friends, Karen Brown and Bucky Sweatt. She was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers, Joe, Israel and Bill. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at W.M. Marvin’s Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral Mass will be conducted by Monsignor Peter Rianni on Monday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Elizabethtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations by be made to the Elizabethtown-Lewis Ambulance Squad or St. Elizabeth’s Church. Francis H. Tefoe, 84, of Main Street, Westport, died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at her home. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Westport. Paul S. Pickett Sr., 51, of 1174 Rte 122, Constable, N.Y., formerly of Malone, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at the home of his friends, Kenneth and Dorothy Buntz, while under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Allentown, Pa., on April 27, 1953. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. in Morningside Cemetery in Malone Monday, May 10. Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc. of Malone. Eunice B. Pohl, formerly of Saranac Lake, died May 5, 2004, at the Summerset Medical Center in Middlesex, N.J. She was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Ellenburg, N.Y., the daughter of Elwin and Effie (Patnode) Gibbs. Friends may call at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Linda McIntyre of the Saranac Lake First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Edna T. Dieterle, 89, of Scenic Point Drive, Jay, died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh. She was born Feb. 27, 1915, in Rochester, the daughter of Arthur F. and Lucy A. (Clayton) Taylor. There are no calling hours or funeral services at this time. Please omit flowers. The Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Margaret J. Lemieux, 84, of Tupper Lake, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Mercy Healthcare Center, where she had resided since 1999.
