Published: 3/22/04MELVIN YELL, 84, of Old Lake Colby Road, Saranac Lake, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid. Born in Gabriels on June 4, 1919, he was the son of Maynard and Maude (Revette) Yell. Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will take place following the calling hours. Following cremation, burial will be in Brighton Cemetry in the spring. ALICE M. JONES, 82, of Malone, died at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone Saturday, March 20, 2004. She was born in Lake Placid on Sept. 20, 1921, the daughter of Isiah and Eva (Wilson) DeMar. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Eustace Church with the Rev. Judson Pealer officiating. Burial will follow in North Elba Cemetery. NANCY T. LeCLAIR, 71, of Champlain, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at her home. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. A full obituary will appear in Tuesday’s newspaper. Arrangements are with M.B. Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. |
