Edna E. Hackett, 81, of the Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh and Fort Myers, Fla., died on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Sept. 10, 1921, the daughter of Harvey and Yvonne (Mayville) Cartier.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Internment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.

Lorraine J. Gilbride, 73, of County Route 33, Burke, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at Fletcher-Allen Health Care, Burlington, Vt.

She was born in New York City, N.Y. on November 5, 1929, the daughter of Charles and Rita (Kunish) Lehning.

Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. only.

There will be no funeral service and burial will be private.
