Myrtle M. Frost

Sciota — Mrs. Myrtle M. "Mert" Frost, 83, of the Dragoon Road, Sciota, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at her home.

She was born in Sciota, N.Y., on May 1, 1920, the daughter of Herbert and Mae (Abood) Relation.

She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Mae Relation; her son, Aaron Guay; a grandson, Randy Guay; her brothers, Elwood Relation and Marshall Relation; her sisters, Hilda Badger, Marie Limpert, Sylvia Van Blaricom and Connie Relation.

Myrtle is survived by her husband, Richard Frost of Sciota; three sons, Maurice Guay and his wife Janeen of Mooers, Gaylord Guay and his wife Carol of Sciota, James Guay and his wife Mae of Sciota; 13 grandchildren; three brothers; Major Howard Relation, United States Air Force Retired and his wife Morena of Sciota, Daniel Relation and his wife Eileen of Beekmantown and Herbert Relation Jr. and his wife Carole of Sciota; two sisters, Evelyn Bulriss of Plattsburgh and Luella Garrand and her husband Arlen of Mooers; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Plattsburgh with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William G. Reamer, Chaplain at CVPH Medical Center, officiating.

Interment will follow in-St. Louis de France Cemetery in Sciota.

Mildred M. Reynolds

Ellenburg Depot — Mildred M. Reynolds, 93, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Ellenburg on July 15, 1910, the daughter of Victor and Nellie (Cook) Manor.

She graduated from Chateaugay Normal School and taught at the Hammond Corners and Plank Road School Houses for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Sandra Reynolds of Chateaugay, Bruce and Sheila Reynolds of Malone; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and James Bilow of Ellenburg Depot, Donna and William Scott of Ellenburg Depot and Susan and Stanley LaBarre of Ellenburg Depot; a sister-in-law, Loretta Cook of Ellenburg; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grand-children.

Her husband, Ralph died in 1982. A brother, Raymond Manor died earlier and a sister died in infancy.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sheldon Hill Cemetery in Ellenburg Depot.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sheldon Hill Cemetery memorial fund.

Clarence P. Soper

Keeseville — Clarence P. "Bud" Soper, 78, of Route 9, Keeseville, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at his home.

He was born in Keeseville, Aug. 20, 1924, the son of Maynard and Malaria (Strong) Soper.

He was a civilian plumber on the Plattsburgh Air Force Base for 25 years and he and his wife owned and operated the Villa Motel in Keeseville for 44 years.

He was a member of the AuSable River Lodge 149 F&AM and was a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Marion (Charland) Soper of Keeseville; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Debbie Soper of Hooks, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Robert Timosevich of Keeseville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two sons, Michael Soper, May 20, 1990, and Charles Soper, May 15, 1994.

Calling hours and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.

Arrangements are with the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.
