Ellenburg Depot — Aaron C. Boyea, 20, of Canaan Road, Ellenburg Depot, died Sunday, July 20, 2003, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Feb. 12, 1983, the son of Brian and Barbara (Handschuh) Boyea.

Aaron attended Northern Adirondack Central School for many years and graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2002. He then attended Clinton Community College.

He currently was employed by Adecco in Burlington, Vt.

Aaron enjoyed playing soccer, basketball and softball. He also enjoyed listening to music and having a good time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Aaron was a member of St. Edmund’s Church.

Survivors include his parents, Brian and Barb Boyea of Ellenburg Depot; two sisters, Elizabeth Boyea and Michelle Boyea, both of Ellenburg Depot; one brother, Christopher J. Burdash of Syracuse, N.Y.; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Boyea of Ellenburg; and many, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Rev. Joseph Wheelock, pastor of St. Edmund’s Church, will conduct a vigil service at 8:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Edmund’s Church in Ellenburg.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Following burial in the parish cemetery, family and friends are invited to attend a reception at the St. Edmund’s Church Hall in Ellenburg.

Donations in Aaron’s memory may be made to the Aaron Boyea Memorial Scholarship Fund at Northern Adirondack Central School, c/o Brian and Barbara Boyea, P.O. Box 72, Ellenburg Depot, NY 12935.

Robert "Cob" Breyette Sr., 59, of Mooers Forks, died Friday, July 19, 2003, at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.

Arrangements were incomplete Tuesday at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers.

Lyon — A memorial service for Elizabeth L. Lyon of Doniphan, Mo., and formerly of Ticonderoga, who died Feb. 19, 2003, will take place Friday, July 25, 2003, at 10 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Cross of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Marjorie J. Floor, rector, will officiate. Burial will follow at the family plot of the Meadow Knoll Cemetery of Putnam Station. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, Ticonderoga.
