Published: 06/01/03Marion A. RabideauTonawanda, N.Y. — Marion A. (Bedard) Rabideau, 91, of the City of Tonawanda, N.Y., died Thursday, May 29, 2003. She was born in Faceton, Vt., on Aug. 1, 1911, the daughter of Ephram and Ceil (Boyer) Bedard. She was the wife of Wilbur "Bert" Rabideau who died in 1980. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Forever Young Group of the Church, a life member of the Social Does of North Tonawanda Lodge 860 BPOE, a member of the Silver Fox Dance Group and the Tonawanda Senior Citizens. She is survived by four children, Veronica Roden of North Tonawanda, N.Y., Lawrence Rabideau of Tonawanda, N.Y., Shirley (Henry) Hurko of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and Kenneth Rabideau of Grand Island, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St., City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, City of Tonawanda, on Monday, June 2, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo Foundation. Erma L. Brown, 60, of 66 Cossey St., Ticonderoga, died peacefully Friday, May 30, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Ticonderoga on Aug. 6, 1942, the daughter of Benjamin S. and Helena (Russell) O’Dell. Calling hours will be held at the Connery & Gunning Funeral Home in Ticonderoga on Monday, June 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church on Water Street in Ticonderoga, Pastor Nelson Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Ticonderoga. Richard J. Dion, 74, of 11 Alexandria Ave., Ticonderoga, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Ticonderoga on May 26, 1929, the son of Francis and Phyllis (Blake) Dion. There will be no calling hours. A memorial and graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Connery & Gunning Funeral Home in Ticonderoga. |
