Roberta LeClair Fredenburg

QUEENSBURY — Roberta LeClair Fredenburg, 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1953, in Plattsburgh. She was the daughter of Robert and Valeda (Tellier) LeClair.

She was a loving mother and wife. She loved arts and crafts. She enjoyed antiques, games, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her priority.

She is predeceased by her father, Robert LeClair, who died in 1999.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ronald Fredenburg of Queensbury; one son, Ronald S. Fredenburg and his wife, Jennifer, of Lake George; one daughter, Lynne West and her husband, Michael, of Chestertown; her mother, Valeda LeClair of Keeseville; one brother, Bernard LeClair and his wife, Annette of Crown Point; two sisters, Constance Lacy and her husband, Jack, of Keeseville, and Judith Earle and her husband, Harold, of Queensbury; her mother-in-law, Mabel Fredenburg, of Keeseville; one sister-in-law, Kathy Peffer, and her husband, Gary, of Malone; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Annunciation on Aviation Road in Queensbury.

Burial will follow at Pine-view Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.

Nancy Lorraine Zelazny

KEESEVILLE — Nancy (MacCauley) Zelazny, 65, of 56 Cedar Court, passed away Sunday, at the Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington. She had been a patient there since April 6.

She was born in Mineville on Oct. 18, 1937. In the presence of her family, Nancy was lifted to a higher eternal life, after having so much generosity and kindness for so many here on earth.

After graduating from Plattsburgh High School and the Loretta Business Institute, she married John Zelazny of Schenectady and accompanied him on numerous assignments in the U.S. Air Force.

After her husband’s retirement, they made their home in Keeseville. Following years of devotion to her family, she returned to work as Program Coordinator for the Clinton County Advocacy and Resource Center, a position she held until her retirement.

Nancy was an intelligent, witty and gentle soul, whose greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends, to whom she was a constant source of love, laughter and comfort.

Her favorite pastime was cooking, reading novels, watching HGTV and the Food Channel. She also enjoyed drives through the back roads of upstate New York with her husband, John. She will always be remembered for the love she shared and her caring ways.

She is survived by her husband, daughter and son-in-law, William and Holly Vedder, three sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Zelazny, Christopher Zelazny, and Timothy and Bonnie Zelazny, eleven grandchildren, Crysalyn, Jordan, Terran, Kyle, Jacob, Rachel, Bryan, Belinda, Steven, Micheal, and Kathryn, and one great-granddaughter, Madelyn Alyse; also, half sisters Jackie Hallenback of Pennsylvania, Patsy Recore of Rochester, cousins Susan Daniels of Plattsburgh, and Sally Breitkreutz of Scottsdale, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends at the Clinton County Advocacy and Resource Center.

Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Brown’s Funeral Home on Broad Street. A Catholic Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at St. John’s Church on Broad Street.

ANN ANTONIADES, 79, of West Main Street, Bloomingdale, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born in Manhattan on Aug. 20, 1923, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Tassousi) Trother.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Fredrick Dennis officiating.
